Geolocating IPs is surprisingly better than it was. For the UK everything used to be reported as London or Birmingham but now they can often get the closest big town. This could be close enough to confirm if a user is someone you already suspect.

If you have any kind of home DSL in the UK then you have a dynamic IP which is almost worthless to know because you can change it yourself at any time. Cable is dynamic too but is much sticker so to change it you might have to leave your modem off for a week or spoof the MAC address (or own multiple modems and swap between them).

If you're stupid enough to access your kiwifarms using your school's wifi, then you deserve the humiliation. I also use home wifi, so I'm fine.
Yeah the smaller the country the more accurate it is. However, it's still inaccurate. In my case (luckily) it's no where near.
