I used my elite hacker tool GNU nano to search through my DOX. The way people on twitter are talking about it there's probably stuff there that even I didn't know about myself.
Let's see, they know know the threads I've created, they know I have had a private conversation with @Recon and the message he sent me starting that conversation but nothing else, they know the threads I've posted in (which you don't need the leak to see in the first place), the IP of my VPN, and my burner email address. I tried to dox myself more using the information in it and my email brings up zero results on a search and the IP is a corporate IP in Switzerland. No passwords, no address, no real name, no nothing.
Wow. Great Dox guys. This is like a 2/10 by our standards. At most people can email their awful fan-fiction into a black hole.

Well shit, someone might know my burner email and that I may live in or around Portland somewhere. If this results in someone attempting to stalk any Portland troons or tankies then honestly this is a win.

I only ever use kiwi farms in incognito mode, that should shield me from the dox right? I don't want people to know which euro country i'm from.
Don't take memes seriously

Internet provider. They'd have to jump through a lot of legal hoops to narrow it down further.

A VPN isn't a bad idea, but it's not nearly as important as not having an e-mail that is personally identifying. A VPN is more important if you are doing shit you don't want the government to find out about.

What these morons on Twitter don't grasp is they get doxed because they leave PII all over the damn place. Not through hacking. This hack revealed nothing on anyone except the most exceptional people.
Guize, I confess, my email is TOTALLY my real name. Don't look up my email name on the yellow pages guize! It's totally not fake!

Does an IP address really pinpoint where your house is? Or does it just pinpoint where the internet provider is?
an IP address only really pinpoints the ISP who owns the address.
if you want to find out what real-life address an IP is assigned to, you need to ask the ISP, and these companies usually don't give out personal information about their customers except when ordered to do so by a court of law or government agency.

I had to make do with drinking a bottle of Febreeze. It didn't work as expected.

On the plus side, your breath now smells fabulous.

I like the part where Null already explains why it was possible but this nut has to fantasize about null being a complete moron and having a super insecure website. After incorrectly stating the passwords were stolen despite having no info that this was the case.

Oh look! Claire the Cute, feminist/transexual/heathen/elf fuckwit, has made his Twitter protected all of a sudden. Run like hell fatso. We'll give you a start of ten.

We all know you don't fuck with furfags and Soyboys. They are hardcore parkour government agencies with ties to the NSA.
