Question for techie people. Answer in small words pliz, I'm thick.

Been meaning to do this for ages - if I transfer to Null's email service, how does it verify? Cos I've forgotten the password to the original burner email I set up, so if it's thru that I'm bollixed.

I'm far more scared of you fuckers than external doxing, but come the revolution I know the biggies will just hand over info, so...

I just downloaded the dox and while I was on the list, it's like this person just copied off my profile and the front page. Unless there was more with my name on it (did a quick look), it had nothing except probably my email and birth date.

This is probably the worst dox I have ever seen.

EDIT: I am a dumbfuck and I didn't see the Excel sheet. The two IP addresses that I was able to identify are still way off from where I live. Regardless, I doubt anything will come out of this.

If you google to see what info your IP address reveals, it's not much but a very general physical location of where you access the internet. And if you use a VPN, then that info is hella misleading anyway. I'm pretty sure (optimistic?) people here have the sense to use a throwaway email and unique (and offensive) password. These details will not reveal your identity. Do change your password.

I feel like these fags don't grasp the concept how many of us are gun nuts on this site and live in states with pretty good castle doctrine laws. Like even if they somehow found our addresses, showing up at our homes in what would be considered prowling and possibly assaulting us could end in a few fursuits being ventilated to make them....more comfortable?

I'm on it, which reminded me that I don't have the old burner email adress anymore and wouldn't have been able to access my account anymore if anything happened that required email verification, so I made a new burner email and linked that. So thanks doxxing guys, I guess! Of course I never accessed the farms (nor my burner emails) with anything but vpn and/or tor, that's a given.

This is just a sign of things to come and have been coming for a while really, the free internet where you can just say the shit you think is not wanted anymore. Hasn't been for a while, for many reasons. When you think about it it's crazy that a) kiwifarms is a very rare place, not just one in a ocean of similar places b) it draws just so much ire and butthurt. There are only few free places like this left so it'll only get worse and worse. Eventually I'm going to miss this place and I hope I'll find something similar somewhere else. Don't get me wrong, I love and really admire the work Null is doing, I just think eventually this is just not going to work anymore.

Eh, got a throwaway email address and reset passwords for both that and here, but I actually don't care if my info got out. A few years ago, I'd be worried, but I've been more privacy conscious since not current year, though whatever happens, happens.

Anyway, no one's truly 100% anon, not with how all the bigwig sites like FB and Amazon have known for years the time of day you use the fucking bathroom and what soda brand you picked up at the store...
