I know, right? I would have killed for expectations that low in high school. I don't like math any more than Connor but the one time I brought home C work in that class my parents flew so far up my ass they could see out my mouth until I brought my grade up.

Look, there are some things about myself I can't change over the course of one night, or even a weekend. It takes time, effort and willpower. Also, you guys seem to be implying that people in general are selfish by their very nature.
I assume it's either Pre-Algebra or College Algebra, if Connor sucks at math as much as he claims I doubt he's taking anything higher. And where I went to school IIRC everyone regardless of major had to pass Algebra to get a degree.

Can someone explain to me what's with autistics and their obsession with honesty? It goes beyond lack of filter, and gets into "filters are evil and immoral" territory. Connor's high-functioning and I'm going to cut him some slack with the general laziness thing because I think it's partly due to his age, but this whole "I WILL NOT WEAR A MASK" deal is what's really going to wreck him in life.
