This statement alone means I am never going to watch this or any of his stupid videos. And to think that this idiot actually imagines himself a filmmaker, and assumes he's part of some new filmmaking avant garde on Youtube. 😆 He is a fucking hack who cannot appreciate true filmmaking. He wouldn't have lasted an hour on that Francis Ford Coppola filmset, and would have surely made 20 Youtube videos about how such an actual filmmaking experience had left him deeply traumatized.

Clawshrimpy basically hates him because Harris is not enough of a woke warrior. Which is true, he is less extreme than Shrimpy, but he's a woke warrior nevertheless

I've heard others complain about Redux adding unnecessary fluff to the film, mostly in the form of the scene with the French colonialists but it's been a long time since I saw it so I will default to the position of calling Harry a contrarian soy goblin who is a troll by any other name but because he's a breadtube troll it's considered Cool and Hip and Funny™.

I have seen both and Redux was way better, it gave you more background info into Colonel Kurtz, for example the scene where Captain Willard goes through Kurtz's CIA dossier, that scene was not in the original, and just that little scene alone gave you some personal background information showing how respected Kurtz originally was, that made Kurtz's descent into madness seem that much more disturbing. I also suspect that the scene was cut because Coppala needed the cooperation of the military in the making of the movie and they probably did not want to implicate the CIA as well in the plot (this was at a time when negative or critical movies about the CIA had come out, for example The Spook That Sat By The Door in 1973 which was outright banned, it's possible the CIA actively wanted to prevent more such critical or negative movies). Harry has to be profoundly ignorant of film studies to not appreciate the fact that a director's cut of such a historic war movie reveals something about film policies and/or government policies at that time versus now. That's why he's such a hack in my eyes for slamming the Redux as simply "boring". Even if it is "boring" to a CGI-brainwashed moron like Harry, a serious film student should've at least appreciated the strictly historic value of comparing the Redux to the theater release. But then again, it's Harry Brewis so what would you expect? Serious film analysis? 😆
