Having to take time out to answer a spurious ethics complaint and mandatory investigation by the state bar would surely have affected Ty's ability to perform.

So they could shaft Shannon in a heartbeat
Also, remember, they didn't think twice to out Vic and he had a more important role

They had hard evidence of Tortious Interference with regard to Kamehacon, and somehow that one got dismissed, so your optimism on defamation definitely exceeds mine, which just seems like a much more subjective call.

He only has the actual right to appeal immediately if he does lose completely. Otherwise, the appeals court could decline to hear the appeal at all until after the entire case is decided. Only the defendants can automatically appeal a partial denial of their motion.

Shannon has probably paid his dues by this point with the Twitter jackassery.
One guy suggested we shouldn't go after Rooster Teeth's management over the Vic issue because "the workers will suffer." The workers are suffering now. Maybe management should disentangle themselves from the barbed wire they are in.

Well, so far, God has seemingly been on Vic's side, so he may have sent a plague upon the house of Rooster Teeth. Whether what we are seeing karma or a coincidence can be debated.
Personally, it would be easier to.. digest these happenings at Rooster Teeth if Vic was still employed there. If Vic was still there I would be like "they're good people trying to compete." With Vic gone it's more like "ehh.. Rooster Teeth is either full of fascists that fired an innocent man or bent the knee to Sabat in some attempt to stave off trouble. Either way they need to be broken."

while the vic thing certainly hurt them, theyve been heading this way for a while lately with how their employees treat the people that pay them. looking at you miles "fans shouldnt criticize me unless its constructive ass kissing" luna.

The gen:LOCK monetary issues would have bit them in any case, but I imagine some the lost goodwill caused by their dismissal of Vic would have been mitigated if they hadn't done so. That is until the Glass Doors Reviews and reddit leaks about the work conditions in RT's Animation Department came out or when the price hike for RT First membership was implemented (and the atrocious response by their moderators to First members canceling their subscriptions). The resignations and lay-offs this year don't help with a public reception that the company is having internal turmoil, either.
