This assumes DC Comics is competent and not just running off the fumes of Batman and Superman. Out of touch executives who have never got a brand off the ground but got the job because they went to the right business school, handing money to grifters who give them asspats at cocktail parties, who have failed upwards and will get several golden parachutes for fucking things up. Expecting these people to care about some dead white male who killed himself is not gonna happen.

They won't care until it hurts their business. The normies have seen how Alec killed himself. They also have seen @yesthatanna 's report on Zoe's twatter.

The normies who are paypigs will probably not buy anything Zoe writes or draws. Some of them, not most of them, I'm predicting.

This is what makes me wonder. It's already hurting their business. Didn't Goddess Mode sell poorly? What is it that's on her CV that makes them think she's going to be capable of making them money?

In @Haramburger 's index, a user @damian put up sales numbers of Goddess Mode, and yeah it did sell poorly.

That's pathetic when you consider how large comics used to be. The old adage of go woke and go broke is proven true. Nobody is buying this crap and these companies need to stop sniffing their own farts. They need to go back to what their base actually wants.

Comics are still big, just in other forms. Manga, manhwa, and webtoons. Granted, there is woke shit in each of these too but I think there is less of it than in the DC and Marvel comic series.

I'm currently re reading Fire Force, it's a good manga that has both badass male and female characters.
