Funny thing about browsing r/GenderCritical and the other TERF subs like r/ItsAFetish like their dating ones, before I honestly didn't think asexuality was a real thing in humans. I thought they were just loveshys or weirdos.
But a lot of the r/GC TERFs seem to be actual real asexuals that are angry that other women (and men) have any kind of drive or interest in sex.

Rather than accept that they are the exception to the norm they reee about woman's sexual urges being the result of brainwashing partiarchy or 'rape culture' or other assorted BS.

Respectfully, I disagree - people take what makes their peepee hard and vagegey wet way too seriously as this site all too often demostrates. I long for the days when schoolmistress spanking was considered strongly kinky and people didn't turn that inot their lives. Troonism and other fetishes truly have become a "morality pressure valve for insanity". These people on/r/itsafetish are complaining about "kinks" like pedophilia and rape fantasies people like to drone about on and on. I think that's reasonable. Not sure if this is what they're referring to, but briefly in the early 2000s there was a subgroup of feminist pro-anas whose primary argument was that they had the right to bodily autonomy and self expression, and therefore censoring pro-ana was wrong. It did not catch on with wider pro-ana, who tend to be too self absorbed to consider social ramifications.

This article from 4th Wave Now kind of touches on this aspect of the Tumblr pro-ana community, although it doesn't mention any connection between that and radical feminism (if anything it's drawing a connection to the trans movement).

I have definitely seen many r/GC users mention they used to be pro-ana, but I've never seen anyone specifically advocate for pro-ana in the name of radical feminism. The crossover doesn't surprise me though, as the loudest and craziest of them come across as super self-destructive.

Porn I think is just one of the sillier branches they have attached to the concept of toxic masculinity. Porn wouldn't be the explicit cause of transitioning for fetishistic purposes and they put the 'line' in the wrong place. Having the fetish isn't the problem, and they seem to think it is.
