Tbh, I believe (please correct me) that the cancer is stage 1 because was small when they first found it, but apparently looks very aggressive as it's already spreading, and metastases are running lose already (just after surgery).

Oh fuck, that's rough. That's really sad.

I wonder if that's part of why becky's been losing a little weight, apparently being overweight and not active can be a risk factor.

Norma's husband is retired military (he shouldn't be but that is a whole other story). She has Military insurance which covers chemo. On the Youtube comments, Norma lied and said she had zero income and then Becky admitted that Norma's husband works a full-time job. I don't understand the need for a GFM.

Kinda want to know that story. Was he medically retired out?

Since I'm reading about the father having some veteran status , hopefully they know about Fisher House which helps families stay around the area of the hospital. The closest one in Kentucky is actually at Fort Campbell. This helps significantly with housing and much more.

Isn't Becky too young for a mammogram, unless something was found via a breast exam? The youngest I've ever heard of it being recommended was age 35.

Probably late but it all depends on whether the cancer is actually genetic, as in Neckys mom is positive for said cancerous gene. And then Norma's kids would all be tested for it, as well as any other genetic cancers she tests postive for. If Necks is positive, she'd likely be recommended to get mammograms regularly before 30 or even potentially a double masectomy.

What I understood is that the money is for the trips and accommodation (hotel, gas, food) for her and the whole family in the town of the treatment as it is going to be several trips for the next surgery, chemotherapy..etc...

Stage (0–4)
Healthcare professionals describe the extent of breast cancer progression in stages. This information is incredibly important when making decisions regarding treatment.

The stages of breast cancer are as follows:

• Stage 0. Doctors consider breast cancer at this stage noninvasive, and it is only present in the ducts or the lobules. Ductal carcinoma in situ is a form of stage 0 breast cancer.
• Stage 1. Breast cancer at this stage is invasive, but it remains small and near the primary site. Stage 1A involves tumors that are 2 centimeters or smaller and have not reached the lymph nodes. At stage 1B, the cancer has reached the lymph nodes.

Cancer that has already spread to other areas of the body, or stage 4 cancer, is more likely to spread further.

I agree that people are not really appreciating the seriousness of the situation. It also isn't very likely that becky can get a job that is flexible enough for her to attend to her mother, it is not very predictable how much time or support she might require. She should have gotten a job a long time ago to save for emergencies, but it isn't a great plan right now.

Taking care of a loved one in the hospital is expensive, not just because of medical bills, but because of needing to eat (generally you buy prepared food which costs more), and with cancer treatment there is often few and specific foods that sound appetizing for the patient, and family members have to go fetch those foods. Then there is the fact that the hospital is so fucking boring. People end up buying small things to make it more tolerable like magazines or whatever. The gift shops at hospitals really help when people forget personal care items or they want to try to make their loved one feel better for a little while with a small gift. Most of all it is really shitty to have to worry about money when you are also worrying about your mom dying, something like a GFM is nice for taking one worry off of the family's plate, if nothing else. That by itself is valuable.

She's probably been lurking here for weeks reading up on the Ann Doran debacle and speculation about how much money she is contributing to Becky's mother, and her reptile narc brain has been on red alert scrambling for a way to put a verbal band-aid on it. We've known about this cancer for weeks, Hamber, and trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes ain't gone work.

I'm sure she's contributed somewhat, but while $500 here or there may be a lot for many of us, it's peanuts for Amberlynn. She spends that kind of money on tent dresses she will never even wear at least a couple of times a month and maybe more. I'm sure the grocery and restaurant bill for Albert is sky-high, upwards of $1500 a month if I had to make an educated guess. God knows how much more is spent on useless garbage that she doesn't need. I think it's stupid to say that Amber hasn't given Norma any of her JewTube shekels, because doing so satisfies her need to virtue signal what a good person she is to everybody else. However we all know it's not out of genuine kindness and Hambo would NEVER give the kind of money it takes to help with cancer treatment, even though she could contribute significantly if she wasn't such a greedy pig. Even with good insurance, cancer, especially breast cancer, costs big bucks. And that comment Becky's mother left on one of her videos at 4 AM doesn't exactly scream "Amber is amazing and generous," it really seems to say "Becky is whining at me to leave a comment here and I guess I don't hate Amber so much that I'd tell my kid to shut her fat re.tarded dyke mouth."

Tl;dr: Amber is on damage control because she's probably been perusing the Farms with steam pouring out of her ever-shrinking ears.

I feel bad for Becky's mom; but her cancer on the GFM says it's stage 1, that's still really early. We all know cancer sucks and it's devastating; but people survive it too. I think it's really crass to start a GFM, especially when Becky doesn't work and her gf makes mukbangs on Youtube and earns $10k/month. She can afford to help out; but I don't think she should have to either. Us ordinary folks have to pay for insurance and if something happens we have to handle it ourselves. If I were Becky I would ditch Hambeast and stay with my mom to help out and be there for her and spend quality time with her. It's the little things, like not having to cook dinner, or someone to clean for you. Lord knows chemo is a bitch and it's nice to have a clean toilet to throw up in.

GFM makes me MOTI, I hate when people panhandle for crap, make your own money and handle your own business. On a side note AL could've saved $50 and donated that to Becky's mom if she really cared instead of buying that pink ribbon stuff at Kroger. She's not a survivor yet and not really sure she'd want a reminder of her cancer at the moment. The cancer survivors I know don't have the pink ribbon or teal ribbon or whatever colored ribbon stuff; don't want a reminder and are scared of remission.

People are going to be upset that Becky is asking for donations for her mom when she's been sitting on her fat ass for the last 2 years, coloring and watching DVDs on pillow mountain. Why should other people help foot the bill? Most people have to work even when a loved one is sick. Becky has a large family, so it shouldn't be hard for everyone to agree on a schedule for spending time with/helping Norma. There is no reason Becky can't find a part-time job a few days a week. No one is going to change my mind about how bad Becky looks in this situation.

one thing that i think is important to consider when discussing amberlynn’s responsibility in this situation. (which... admittedly, isn’t very much, for once. they have a poor relationship, don’t respect each other, they aren’t close, and becky is essentially her home nurse at this point. everything becky did to immobilize herself financially was her fault. she could have turned tail at any point by now and left amber’s toddler arms thrashing, but she didn’t, because she’s lazy. amberlynn doesn’t owe mama becks anything, but i think she does owe her the courtesy of gas money.)

i don’t think she saves her money. she probably doesn’t save a single penny. in fact, i wouldn’t be surprised if she’s living paycheck to paycheck. they eat out way more times a day than they indicate, ordering 60, 70, 80 dollar meals upwards of what? two, four times a day? and then they go buy expensive coffees or ice creams or whatever. becky seems to grocery shop every other day. amberlynn is a compulsive online shopper and no doubt hoards way more trash than she shows us. if they have any money saved, she can reasonably say it’s for the house they want to buy or any unforeseen medical bills, considering she’s 600 lbs. i’ve noticed some people on reddit, in the comments, whining about why she doesn’t just pay out tens of thousands of dollars to help becky’s homophobic white trash dumpster fire mother, but i think it’s because i personally find it hard to believe she is sitting on tens of thousands of dollars. not with her compulsive spending and general lifestyle of overindulgence.

but discussing the narcissism in this video would be redundant. it’s seeping through her pores. she’s a cocktail of jealous that she can’t soak in the attention, angry that she has to even think about it for more than two seconds, and self-righteous. it’s fascinating. not only will she be probably be dissected in her post mortem for medical science, she will likely be dissected in many psych grad student theses.
