I've spoken to some of my friends and colleagues who are into anime but not really invested in the going-ons of the case and almost all of them said that Monica and Jamie are insane, but forget that they're easily replaceable. And that was based off of their recent behavior towards other people, not the accusations against Vic.
There was one person who said they wanted to wait until everything was on the table before making a call and I can respect that.
But god even casual fans don't wanna fuck with her. People aren't going to come see her and she's gonna fade into obscurity.

That's how you know all this is bullshit, if Vic actually groomed and raped over a hundred underage girls and almost raped Monica Rial then you wouldn't want this guy anywhere near a career, you'd want him fucking dead or at the very least locked up for life. I've never seen KickVic address this. If they actually believe he's a dangerous predator and rapist, why do they just want him to "think about what he's done", "get counseling", and make sure he never attends a con or gets any work in the industry again? I had referenced Kekkou Kamen briefly in the main thread, but I just remembered that Monica actually played a (high school) character named Mayumi Takahashi in the OVA.
Mayumi is the designated damsel in distress who constantly gets sent to the school's torture chambers for her bad grades and is sexually exploited by the goofy villains of the week. One such example is her being strapped to a swastika with her breasts exposed and her unmentionables are at the risk of being shown to the entire student body.

Now what victim of sexual assault would willingly agree to partaking in this project, even though everything Go Nagai does is clearly tongue-in-cheek?
