I think those reasons for why he has nothing to share is because he's trying to "protect the family". He does go out, he does see shit but refuses to share it because he's so paranoid that people will catch on that he goes out more than he says, or finds out where he's spending cash at. He can't say he saw some guy do something dumb the other day at a certain location because that just ruins his "I'm poor" narrative.

I actually don’t think dark goes out much and is hiding it. I mean he does obviously go out to buy groceries and get dinner...but I mean look at the dude, he’s a fucking ghoul. The man looks like everyday he hasn’t seen sunlight for years, he’s not going out and having fun with his wife, he runs errands with her than scurries back to his pigpen to waste away, and there’s nothing interesting to talk about with that.

The guy just lacks any semblance of a normal life to the point where he can’t hold a basic conversation, he has no recent experiences with friends or family worth mentioning. He’s below an average boring normal person, because even they go out on the weekend usually and might have a fun story to tell.

Now being a boring, miserable fraction of a person wouldn’t be a problem if dark was willing to open up and experiment, but he lacks even that ability. He cries every time the stream chat talks about something off topic or that he has no interest in(which is basically everything) instead of trying to engage and maybe check out what is being talked about so he can form some kinda opinion and comment about it.

I’ve seen plenty of streams stop what their doing to look at a funny tweet, maybe a quick video, listen to a song, and even read an article if it’s about something the chat is talking about or recommending to them. Like it’s so fucking brain dead obvious, if your live audience is interested in something, take 3 minutes to look it up yourself and at least for some sort of opinion on it...fucking learn about something outside of your comfort zone for fucks sake lol.

The guy just has no passion for any topic, and he refuses to ever attempt to broaden his horizons over even the most trivial shit.

Borderlands 3 could’ve been a prefect talking point. The game has 3 relatively expansive skill trees for each character, I’d be reading through each tree and seeing which one actually sounds fun to play, see what skills synergies well with each other, talk to chat about it and see if anyone is playing the character and what’s working for them, it’s such simple stupid shit and instead he’s going to sit there and play the game like a zombie not giving a single fuck about what’s actually in the games systems.

It’s like you are what you eat, viewers can pick up on him just going through the motions and being a fucking corpse while he plays, if the streamer doesn’t give a shit about the game beyond the superficial shit why should the viewer? So they start talking with each other about other shit and instead of him picking up on a basic social queue and jumping into the conversation he fumbles the ball again and shuts it down

TLDR: he’s a fucking zombie of a former human being, and it shows in every facet of his life beyond him talking about food or getting salty

Like it’s honestlMy incredible, I’ve never played a game for more than an hour and not tried to learn and understand as much about what’s actually going on in the game as I could...but then again I play games for fun and actually enjoying learning something new about something I’m putting time into....I know, a bold concept

People asking him to do things in Borderlands is starting to wear on him. From Day 1, the plugin and playing co-op; to now the lack of conversation. He wants to be one of those successful silent play-through youtubers, its just that he has to beg in-between gaming moments.

You would think that Borderlands 3 would be right up his alley cheap jokes, a drip feed of "new" guns and stat pages to read but he tires quickly from the actual game and wants his chat to pull a dancing monkey or throw some change his way. The game built around over-stimuation is actually overwhelming for DSP.

Like I said before he was better over finishing up over titles and clearing up his schedule for the upcoming releases. He could have doubled down on the Call of Duty beta as that is the game that people actually want to see him play.

He really shouldn't bitch at all about the Genesis Mini at all also I think that the person can still cancel. Phil hasn't even given the dude a proper thank you for buying it in the first place. He plans for coverage is so lazy, he's just going to play a couple games on it maybe give it two streams and then it is going in the closet next to the green screen.

The fact he shifted his Call of Duty playtime to the night is the reason why views are shit. You are going up againist some heavy hitter streamers that are playing the game around that time. At least if he played during the day he would start around 12:30 his time so people might check his stream out for an hour or so before bigger names on Twitch jump on.

He really needs to make a judgement call on Dragon Quest Builders, he has more time invested in Minecraft at this point and he has the gimmick of taking money for builds set up. He set himself to have to pull out some dumbass drama around November because all these games coming out aren't going to do shit for him. He got lucky that Blackout worked out for him, but people are just going to bait in-game in MW and not with dollars and bits attached.

Absolutely incredible seeing the mental gymnastics even when confronted with video proof. He started monetizing his shit in 2010, at the time he could only get a YT partnership for his vlog channel. The partnership was terminated shortly after that video where he asked viewers to click on the ads. He then went to Blip and then came the anti-semitic video. Shortly after that he got partnered with Machinima. And in-between all of that he was receiving donations from fans but never disclosed how much he made.

Someone tipped him and said that DSP should collab with other streamers. DSP's response was that he would like to, but other streamers wouldn't as "the trolls would follow them back."

Has it really been that long since DSP blatantly ignored Wings in his own chat?

Honestly kinda surprised all these streamers with dedicated tractor communities don't just get together and do co-ops while cashing in on all the attention a collaboration like that would generate. Instead they isolate themselves and act suspiciously towards each other.

Phil desperately needs to do some homework and watch some other streamers, but I think the real reason he never does isn't that he's too busy, it's that he finds himself wholly inadequate when comparing himself to anyone else. Joel from Vinesauce can stream 16 hours of Desert Bus over a weekend and keep thousands of people on stream with stories and goofs. Phil himself is bored within a minute of watching every single gameplay video in his retrospectives, and can't even figure out why anyone else ever enjoyed them.

But like you said, since meeting Kat, Phil has no opinions or stories to tell anymore. For all he tells us he streams, sleeps, and sits in silence every single day except when he's getting groceries and paying bills. That's fucking boring. So he buys a cat as a prop to make himself seem more interesting, but he interacted more with the beanie babies.

Well that's one of the most fundamental differences between Darksdafil and other more successful streamers or streamers with smaller but very dedicated viewerbases, in that they can stream anything and do pretty well because the viewers are there to see them, the game is of secondary importance, whereas Mr. Pigroach relies on the games to be entertaining and he's just there to play them, you don't show up to see him, you show up to see the games. This is why he has autistic rules like "variety streaming" where he won't play more than one (J)RPG at a time because his viewers will get bored/burnt out and stop showing up etc.

I can't imagine any other decent streamer having a rule like that. Phillip has a dogshit personality and he knows that he can't continue on his own merits. The games do all the work, he's just there to mash buttons and scoop up the pennies at the end of the night.

Of course Phil conveniently "forgets" to mention that besides the 2009 video where he directly told people to click on the ads in late 2010 he made other videos telling people that he can get money based on how much they "Participate, and anyone whose accustomed to YouTube and how partnered channels work I'm sure you know what I'm saying," and then ended every video telling his viewers to remember to "Participate".

He literally told his viewers to click on the ads at the end of every video he made for months, and they did, and he got banned from AdSense, and he made a video proclaiming "I did nothing wrong, I have nothing to hide", and now it's the fault of the people clicking the ads and not his for telling them to "Participate You know what i mean" in every video for months right until he ate a ban for it. He still gets all fussy in his britches if anyone brings up the "Don't forget to Rate, Comment, and Participate!" sign-off he would end every video on THEKINGOFHATEHD with and starts squabbling about how 'that's not what I meant by "Participate" and no one thought that" but he absolutely refuses to speak about it beyond that because that's exactly what it meant and he made videos that said as much.
