A revolver would be more "quick-draw", as you would only need one hand to at least operate.
A shotgun, you'd need to account to distance and recoil along with spread.
A rifle is better long range. Maybe if he was running away, you may have a change.
If you're in a conflict on the street, preparing an AR-15 would take a lot of time. A handgun would be more veritable in that situation.
That must be why in Urban Operations, they give all US military personnel revolvers, right?
You are wrong on all accounts.
Operating a handgun with 'one hand' drastically increases your chances of inaccurate fire. You operate it with two hands, because unlike a rifle or shotgun- you do not have a stock to stabilize the weapon.
A rifle is easier to stabilize. A rifle can be loaded with hollowpoints, making them very lethal in close quarters.
Loading a magazine into an AR-15 takes 2 seconds at most, a revolver can take a LOT longer. Now factor in fear, and you're lucky if you don't drop 3 of the 6.
This isn't a fucking video game.
Pistol are useful in very tight quarters. Factor in the adrenaline and fear, and you're not going to hit something unless you're right on it. Pistols, by design, are supposed to be the last resort firearm.
I don't own any firearms, no. Gun discussion was brought up because of the many mass shootings happening in the United States.
Then you don't have any fucking place telling those of us that do, what we should have.
If someone who's never owned or operated a motorcycle tried to tell you what you needed to ride and how to ride it, you'd roll your eyes and call them a fucking idiot and ignore them. When it comes to climate change, libfaggots tend to point towards the "climate change scientist" experts like they're the indisputable masters of the weather lore. And when a man starts trying to explain how a woman should manage her cooter and breeder-plumbing, women tell them to STFU because men have no idea.
Yet, firearms comes into the discussion and dumb mother fuckers start acting like they know everything about them because they saw them in a video game or a movie, act as if they're powered by spite and witchcraft, and believe they should be able to dictate how they are procured and handled.
No, and fuck you for thinking you can.
