So here's someone trying to make a point to Lily, and she can't even come up with a proper rebuttal. She just mocks them by playing some sort of scene from SpongeBob in gif form. It's like she literally can't make a defense for herself and thinks sticking her tongue out means she's beaten her opponent.

What is this? I have a hunch this is in reference to this post I made here. And it does not address my issues with lily’s attitude towards media. There are more serious matters that currently exist in this world we live in, but thankfully lily has come in today to tell us how terrible saturday morning cartoons are, like a spoilt rich kid who never dipped his toe in the real world.

And again this is small talk, not grand serious matters. No one likes to hang around a guy who screams and complains about how awful brown eyes are for a full 20 minutes, this guy would have totally been fired if he did this at work. How would this be any different to media consumption?

It gets annoying that you do this scream-a-thon for extended periods and very insulting when you inflate it’s importance on par with say, the student debt crisis or the recent hezbollah-IDF fire exchange.

Would you ever see a guy who accidently had his hand cut off at work say:

“This wound is very painful, but I will concur that a lot of episodes of steven universe are rather mediocre and that rebecca sugar is a national socialist sympathiser.”

Jerry is a professional writer, so his criticism of writing holds weight.

That being said, he only technically qualifies, as he writes the scripts for his videos, and his videos are his main source of income; his profession. Jerry's not a professional in the sense they are a published author, they write Youtube video essays. Whenever he calls himself a professional writer it's just another lame 'gotcha' of his. Just another excuse to justify getting angry at cartoons, and why you're stupid for telling him he's taking this way too seriously.

At this point I'm wondering how Lizzy actually behaved during their relationship,
