Ah, there it is. Living on rice and beans for a couple of weeks like many people who've struggled with poverty have is below Phil. He has to have pizza. That someone else made and he bought with money people gave to him to feed himself for the rest of the month. And no, Phil, "cheap" takeaway pizza is still expensive compared to a sack of potatoes, some veggies or pulses, and a few herbs and spices, and the latter would feed you for a lot longer.

Phil is nothing short of a low-level capitalist grifter, and he's too re.tarded to recognise it. Wearing the right clothes, badges and tattoos don't change your actions. I don't know exactly how it works in Oregon, but here in the UK disability allowance continues regardless of your employment status. You could land a job earing £80k a year and still claim disability money as long as you can prove the disability. Although, of course, most people wouldn't be so fucking cheeky as to collect disability money while earning a comfortable living.
Phil, on the other hand, is absolutely the kind of person who would do that. And he'd pretend it's some kind of communist statement against the white cishet fascists.

Social Security is based on your ability, either past or present depending on SSI or SSDI. The only permanent federal benefit that isn't beholden to these rules is Disability Compensation from the Department of Veterans Affairs. You can be rated 100% T&C (Total and Complete) disabled from them and still work so long as you can prove, it ain't hard it you do it during SEPS and TAPS (your discharge processing from active military service), that you got fucked up doing Uncle Sam's dirty work. There are no strings to VA Comp. It's a pretty sweet gig as long as you don't take into the 50-70 years of restrictions and suffering from legit disabilities you got from the military.
That ain't Phil, though The most physical effort he's put into anything was assaulting his mother because she wouldn't pay for his weeb shit anymore.
That isn't how it works in the US. SSI (Supplemental Security Income)comes with work qualifications that Phil will never reach, you can inherit them from parents I think?, and SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) has restrictions to the amount you can work and earn. Everything else, SNAP, Section 8 Housing, can generally be tied to this. Are you in the SS/SSDI pipeline, how much do you earn, how many dependents in your household are you responsible for, etc. Many places also have local and state benefits you can apply to. I admittedly don't know the full story because I am not a leech like Phil.

I have a work friend has a son who was disabled in Afghanistan. Got enough shrapnel in him to get 100% disability, but not quite enough to kill him. That IED tried. Also fucked his head up to where he's at best going to be fifteen in maturity for the rest of his life. He's on VA, SSDI, etc.
When you consider that shit versus Phil, you might start thinking of gulags fondly.

Yeah, Imma combat vet and 100% myself. I work in veterans advocacy. Shit can rip your heart out. One of the top excuses you will hear from vets when you ask them why they didn't seek out help earlier, and I used it myself for many years, is "I thought another veteran needed it more". "You know the VA doesn't have enough money". I've had grandchildren come in with their 90 year old, WWII grandfather to get him hearing aids. The vet had never engaged with the VA before and had been a hard charging sonovabitch that left decades of benefits on the table.
I'm a token alt right nazi, but I do believe in government assistance. I just don't believe it for people like Phil, Dickard, etc. They are people who never have and never will contribute to society.

That's a moral reason but a more legal reason is they're not fucking disabled at all. There is nothing wrong with Phil/ADF that would stop him from doing some shit job that he hated, and it would just take a few savage beatings to get him to do it.
