I'm sure Nick is just talking in generalities. But what he said about waiting for more info just gives more credence to my theory that Huber only decided to help out last minute.

To be honest, I am shocked they did not try the "alt-right" lawyer angle. Also apparently not wanting to ruin innocent peoples lives is a right wing thing....sad because there are plenty of left leaning people here who probably feel the same way.

Well Fuck, Guess it is Feel free to call me a dumb bitch. Then what the fuck did they overdose on? Because they did mention overdosing, Also is that what all their content is? Just posting English subs of shit? Wait don't tell me just realized I don't care.

Anyway, pretty sure we're getting a more angry Nick due to his ISP fucking him over. I much more enjoy Nick yelling though.

It seems unlikely to me that any of them would settle at this point. Yeah there would be advantages to them doing so. But ultimately what Vic wants out of this lawsuit is to clear his name. A.k.a. to have Monica, Ron, and Marchi admit they lied about him, and for Funimation to admit that their investigation was a sham that found no harassment and they fired him for other reasons anyways, then intentionally implied they fired him for harassment to back up Monica and the other's lies. To essentially confess to attempting to destroy a man out of spite, jealousy, incompetence, and malice.

I have difficulty envisioning any of them doing that without being forced to do so via threat of large financial penalties. Similarly I have difficulty envisioning them paying Vic enough to walk away from this without that explicit exoneration. Nor can I easily imagine Vic settling for a lesser apology that absolves the defendants without fully clearing his name. Basically the cheap way out of the lawsuit has always been to be brutally honest about their attempts to destroy Vic. The uncertainty left until the TCPA ruling doesn't really give incentive either.
