I have a question about these hijackings or cybersquattings or whatever the fuck they're called. Can someone, say another mod on Reddit, object to Penny taking over the sub? Being a mod on a Reddit sub doesn't give you powers over any other sub.

From what I remember from the /r/Christianity meltdown that happened a few years back, a sub's mods go only by seniority. The dude who's been moderating the longest can remove moderator powers from newer ones. So nobody can actually "take over" a sub by getting on the moderation team unless the original mod team lets them.

However the secret sauce is that troons have nothing better to do than to wield a pointless amount of power on the internet.

They become moderators, then the original moderators stop logging on to Reddit (this is common) and now they're the most senior mod. You take over a sub by having literally no life and just waiting for everyone else to stop giving a shit. That's how all the lesbian subs got their autogynephile mod teams.

The quick and dirty is that this is a forced leftie meme revolving around the idea that the vocaloid "Hatsune Miku" created Minecraft. If you're wondering why that's funny, then that's because it isn't, and you really don't understand that leftie memes are less about having a joke and more about preaching a message. The point is just that Notch, the creator of Minecraft, made comments saying that he believes SRS is a dangerous surgery (which it is) in possibly the most milquetoast way you could express such a sentiment. Regardless, this was grounds for the trans community to unperson him.

Of course, now the trans community is presented with a moral quandary, as many of them enjoyed Minecraft but didn't wish to support a product created by who they saw as a transphobe. You know, despite that Notch sold the rights to Minecraft away and now has zero involvement with it. Regardless, to cope with this, one member of the transgender community created the "Miku created Minecraft" meme--and then kept creating it, as they seem to have been the only one pushing the edits and pictures--defeating the purpose of a "meme" being about community-wide in-jokes.

The examples of this meme are still limited as far as I can find, but recently an article was published aggrandizing both the meme itself and its creator. Needless to say, the creator is exactly as you envisioned them. Taking it a step further, even the author is exactly as you envisioned them, too: anime-obsessed MtF transgender, whose only contribution to the site is this very article.

The article is enjoyable if you like flowery writing, gross exaggeration, and blatant lies. For example, the meme creator's e-books focusing on Miku "spiraling into popularity" for the LGBT community as a whole:

Such as an (already apparent) unhealthy obsession with Miku, and an impotent, blind hatred of Notch on a personal level. Given their narrow range of interests, I suppose it was only a matter of time for them to combine the two:
