Sounds the most plausible. They might have found a couple of good cases to cite for a strong chance at appeal.
That wouldn't really qualify as something unexpected or strange though. The way Nick described it makes me think Chupp is going to step down from being a judge after submitting an apology... I doubt that's the case, but seriously, the way he makes it seem like it's something special...

True, I'm just trying to avoid the hype train or high expectations on something super crazy.
If it was something like the judge stepping down I assume law twitter would already be talking about it.

Law Twitter activity depends on the cosmic rays that day. They are hopelessly behind at times, chasing the stray dogs that already got away while others are running right past them.

Yeah no that's too big and very very unlikely.

It's weirder than that, something funky is up and I think it relates to the tcpa hearing since nick not wanting to go through with reading the transcript until this passes smacks of that

The clown thinks he's something because he overpayed to go to Fairleigh for a worthless certificate.
Unless someone has a good example otherwise, I assume anyone with an animated/anime/cartoon avatar on social media is a fucking dog shit human being that should be ignored no matter what. Why? Well, because we're good at smelling our own, but I'm smart enough not to advertise that fact to the entire world.

I feel personally attacked

What about video game characters? Is that okay or am I still a faggot?

I’m a faggot aren’t I? Dammit...

Social media, my dear (you're female, right?), not the Farms. Also, I did say "Unless someone has a good example otherwise...", so you could potentially be that example.
Aren't forums a form of social media? A simpler one, but still?

It's anime style video game characters. You are doomed. P5 is also an anime. So double doomed!

Alright, so my best guess on new development right now is:

1) It’s something involving Chupp
- hard to imagine what this might be, especially considering it would be something already known to the parties (or at least defendants?)
- a recusal or something similar doesn’t seem like something we’d mysteriously know like a week in advance, unless I’m horribly misunderstanding the process.
- Maybe a reconsideration of something at the hearing, but again, not sure how anyone would have advanced notice before it’s filed.

2) It’s something involving testimony/evidence on front of the court
- seems possible someone recanted, or admissibility of some particular piece of information is going to be called into question
- this one seems most likely to me, but Nick has been talking about it if it’s a mostly done deal, whatever it is, so I would have to wonder how one would feel confident any particular evidence would for sure be thrown out, etc...

General notes (from memory, pls no bully):
- Defendants (for sure) know
- directly involves case
- strange enough that Nick doesn’t know what it means at this stage
- Nick wanted to hold off on reading the TCPA because this apparently could either effect that, or at the very least, affect the assessment of it

The fact that we haven't heard crowing on social media from T-Greg makes me think its not necessarily favorable to the defendants

Or they're not sure what it means either.

More likely the ladder. Because if it was the former, they would be running some sort of mitigation campaign right about now.

Wait! Before you go... what do you think of pineapple on pizza?
Just so I can know how to remember you.
I know you did not ask me, but it is an abomination.
