Idk. he seems to attack both sides of this and is about as pleasant to deal with as drinking crushed glass, from what I've seen..

I would say the same for True Neutrals (in which I actually am one myself) and Lawful Neutrals when it comes to Chaotic Neutrals being okay, yet not everybody that's either True Neutral, Lawful Neutral or Chaotic Neutral are good or bad people. Not even Lawful Stupid and True Stupid are okay.

I don't wanna write off the mediator yet because he seems to have a better fucking clue at how things work than Chupp does considering his accolades, and would also be a better choice than some Lawtwitter type who hasn't been around the block but thinks they're hot shit.

If we're lucky he's likely more inclined to not believe women sperging without hard evidence and call them out on it considering he has a background in criminal defense.

I'm not sure why this is cause for optimism either. Imagine Chupp does change his mind.

Well, now he's in a situation where he cut off defense counsel in the middle of his argument, told him basically to sit down and shut up because he was ruling in his favor, then turns around and does the opposite. Now, the defense is prejudiced by not having been able to make their argument before the judge ruled against him, much as Ty was in the status quo situation.

Unless it outright settles at this point, no matter what, the case is utterly fucked and everyone involved is utterly fucked and absolutely nobody on either side should be happy, because it is going to take a lot of unnecessary time and expense to unfuck it, if that is even possible.

I mean... this thread has already beaten most threads on the farms by now, so it's safe to assume that this has had historic levels of sperg and r.etardation than any has seen before.

I am thinking about this situation and it really is baffling. Each side is entrenched now. Things have spiraled long past the point of mediation or even rational self-interest. Considering the damage each side has sustained its hard to imagine any rational person would say this is all worth it in the end. Vic, Monica, Jamie, Ron, Funimation have all taken more damage than if they had just continued to do business and let old jellybeans lie.

If I were the judge and had read the filings I may just have done the same thing. This case could go on for years, further financially decimating the participants. From a humane standpoint I can understand giving the parties one last chance to stop the further damage that the continuation of this case would do to them.

Then again. There may be no road back for the participants. At this point any Pyrrhic victories may be the best case scenario. Its just a shame that a group of adults can not sit down and hash out their issues rather than spending thousands of dollars for a victory that the average person couldn't care less about and that only served to ruin the reputations of all involved.

With no disrespect intended, vic went from being accused of being an alleged pedophile and committing sexual assault(and losing con invites as a result), to now just being told he was hard to work with and can be a diva. If nothing was to be done, vic would still be accused of that while monica and co look like heroic survivors. Not to mention all this has revealed many peoples true colors and funi is shown to have some deep seated issues in their corporation.

Maybe for those who would have perferred to be ignorant would have rathered this(which i am not accusing you of), but this would not have been good for vic what so ever.

Which is why Chupp is a mong who shouldn't be doling out rulings willy nilly while refusing to hear arguments from either side or even outright ignoring counsel's attempts to to give him information he'd need to make his rulings.

I think we all knew it was going to the court of appeals regardless after that dogshit hearing, I don't think anyone is going to start rushing to settle during or after this mediation. All I can hope is Lemoine continues to be an unreasonable prick on behalf of his clients to really hammer home what pieces of shit these people are.
