Those articles came out when they did because Lemoine and the defense wanted to get what they felt was an upper hand and spin the narrative in their favor.

This all comes crashing down if Greggy crowdfunds enough to get a transcript and realizes what fuckery occurred and he has two choices--grift the GFM or publish the truth.
No, he will still spin it in their favor.

Ummm wat. One single defamation claim was ruled on from the bench, the ruling is not final, and the ruling is plainly open to appeal if made final. Nobody has been shut down yet. Ty warned against spiking the football, and rightfully so. These folks continue to open themselves up to getting egg on their face, and it's kind of embarrassing.

Here's one thing I don't get: Nick and Ty have stated multiple times that things can go belly up at any point and nothing is a lock even if the evidence is a balls to face slam dunk. And Ty even said that he's already made peace with the fact he could lose and that if that happens, he'll be able to rest easy knowing that he went down swinging and fighting to the bitter end. Meanwhile, Greg (and other lawyers, but mainly Greg), constantly goes on to say that everything is done, everything against Vic is set in stone. He could have been the Nick of KV and explain every single proceeding and transcript in layman's terms but he just pushes his #Threadnought to say Vic is fucked and he'll have to dish out a lot of money. It's like Greg is preying on KV's complete lack of knowledge of the American legal system to get them to drink the Flavor Aid he's dishing out like candy. Any feelings I have for that are clouded by Greg being one of THE MOST unlikeable KV figures (and that's saying something) and having one of the most punchable faces I've seen in a long time/

Interesting. Vic has never stipulated in his contracts for his Sunday services. They are voluntary on the con's parts.

It kinda makes sense. I think I mentioned it a few hundred pages back, but anime conventions usually have very little going on Sunday morning. Everyone's asleep/hungover from the night before, what with the rave and costume contest and video game competitions and everything. Most of the time, the con has the room rented for the whole weekend regardless, and it would otherwise go unused. There's exceptions, like when union people get involved and they can't use volunteers for everything, but there's usually very little loss to them by having a couple volunteers run the room while he does his thing.

The difference is that Greg has never achieved anything in his life, he has a pathological need to be important yet he is also irrelevant in pretty much anything he has done in his life.

Nick is doing this like you would do any job, Greg is doing this like a crack addicted loon looking for his next fix.

Greg is disgusting, subhuman filth. He has read the filings at this point and knows that even the defendants have never alleged a single instance of pedophilia, but he relentlessly calls Vic that. He's complete garbage and if he died in a fire I wouldn't care in the least.

Is this the person who wrote the verge article? Same name, and they seem buddy-buddy with many of the people you would expect.

I mean if any clown on Twitter can just make an account on the Verge and shit out an article on the same day attacking Vic and anyone who supports him that then gets added to the front page...what's to stop someone who supports Vic from just doing the same and writing an article that supports the man himself? There's plenty of evidence to show that these people have been stealing pictures of fans and purposely taking things Vic says and then twisting them to fit their shitty narrative.

Doug is doing a stream with Vic right now.
Now I lowkey want Vic to do a cover for "I Will Survive"
I'm just going to leave this here to show my disdain for CalArts

I can’t believe I actually used to enjoy some of his videos.

Also he fully admits to not really looking into this case yet spouts these exceptional takes?

I'm more surprised that it wasn't an actual contractual stipulation. Me, and I think a lot of other people here as well, assumed Vic would stipulate that a room be made ready for a Sunday service.

As it turns out Vic probably just asks for an empty room and they give it to him. That can also explain why sometimes rooms aren't up to Vic's standards, or if the room suddenly needs to be used.

Which can be part of the diva rumors, since he's asking (and maybe gets pissy when he doesn't get it) things that aren't contractually obligated. Doesn't matter one way or another, just found it interesting.
