Well somehow this poster physically hurts to look at I thought I was immune to Labelle cringe I thought wrong
Also really the fucking baby that's the character you pick to agree with Stephie.
Frankly though Sophie makes a good point the baby can't tell you it's gender so if you hold a gender reveal party there will be 0.5% chance you're wrong and you'll have misgendered the baby and ten years from now they'll have PTSD flashbacks.
I've been saying this for a while, but these comics have been impossible to edit and make funny.New poster

The art in this is usually incredibly bad, but this is horrible even for Labelle, holy crap lol.
I love how so much of troon bullshit is just "don't you DARE be happy and live your life! you have to be bowing down to me and doing my bidding 24/7!" like... gender reveal parties are usually pretty trashy and pointless, but the reason for that isn't because it's "transphobic" to tell the world that your female child is female / male child is male. But heaven forbid anyone acknowledge reality in a world where troons exist.![]()
Really? Cause I’ve got an easy one.I've been saying this for a while, but these comics have been impossible to edit and make funny.
Maybe I don't want to be a trans ally thenNew poster

This is some first-draft straight-to-inks crap. I actually think this might be the worst AM panel ever. The writing is crude even for AM, there’s no structure to any of the characters and the general sentiment is hackneyed and overdone. If I didn’t know better I’d think it was a parody. If I was a fan of AM, I’d feel personally insulted that Labelle thinks this is acceptable work.New poster

But how will they become trans if you don't assign them the wrong gender at birth? Does he want to erase transgender people?New poster

I don't care how many made up words were added, I stand by what I said. Besides these parties exist to say "hey buy us this specific baby crap" so you don't wind up with a bunch of clothes you're not going to put your child in.The poster has just been redone for "intersex" inclusion (and more donations plz)

LaBelle's kryptonite is actual effort, hell he isn't even doing the majority of his coloring anymore and you you know Marie didn't get paid for this shit.Wow, he edited the poster to include more unnecessary words but didn't find it necessary to fix that godawful "art"?

I thought gender reveal parties happened while still pregnant. What's with the crotch goblin speaking full sentences in the poster? Has Sophie never been invited to a gender reveal party, or even seen a baby in general?
I still don't understand why you would get someone else to do the coloring. If you are an artist -- is it that much harder to do the coloring? I would think if you could draw figures, you could learn how to color them in. I get that there is shading and light sources to consider and all those other technical things that I don't know the actual terms for -- but shouldn't a professional comic artist be able to do those things? Is this a common thing in the comics world?I don't care how many made up words were added, I stand by what I said. Comics art is time-consuming in all stages, so dividing the work is common. By dividing the work, the job gets done faster (so a comic might have someone who does the writing, the rough pencils, the final inks, etc.) It can all be done by one person, but that increases the workload on that person, and increases the time it takes to finish a piece.I still don't understand why you would get someone else to do the coloring.
