I saw on a terf subreddit months ago a list of official steps the staff in a women's shelter were supposed to take for dealing with exactly this sort of situation, an obvious man coming in and a woman reacting negatively to the presence of a man. More than half of the steps were to validate the troon, ending with kicking the actual woman out if she is unable to cope. They not only let men into women's shelters, but their rules literally prioritize these men to the point of refusing women.

The gay ones and the autistic girls are mostly getting it from parents who are desperate not to have a gay kid - their children are gender non-conforming and they're terrified, but trooning them out not only gets them social progressiveness points and minor celebrity (aka $$$), but it also gives them a "straight" "gender-conforming" child that they can love safely without having to think about potential icky gayness. (Autistic girls fall into this category because they tend to be gender non-conforming so their parents worry they'll be gay.)

The more "normal" seeming ones (or the GNC ones with less terrible parents) are mostly radicalized by online communities of adult troons who desperately push the idea on kids that if they ever do anything even remotely gender non-conforming, they must be trans, and the idea that trans people are the only ones who matter, that being trans is the best thing ever, etc. etc.

And that's not even getting into the other adults in their lives who might be pushing them to go trans like teachers, older "trans kids", and even their radicalized peers. Pretty horrifying stuff.

That's simply not true at all. Go read some of the articles about these parents of "trans kids" - they'll openly say things like "I was afraid he was gay," "When [daughter] told us she was a lesbian, we rejected her, but when [daughter] told us she was a straight transman we were fully supportive". They'll admit it right out there in the open. They're not even a little bit ashamed of it. You can also look closer at the narratives to see the "signs" they report that their child is trans, because every single one of them is gender non-conformity that, until the trans movement came along, used to be considered signs that your child is gay.

Trans ideology is fundamentally misogynistic and homophobic at its core, so of course homophobes and misogynists support it. Just on the homophobic end, this is a movement that supports redefining "gay" and "lesbian" to include heterosexuals, that regularly engages in bullying, shaming and guilting to try to force gay and lesbian people to engage in heterosexual sex, where women at Pride and Dyke Marches have been harassed, had the cops called on them, been screamed at and had their property destroyed merely for supporting the definition of "lesbian" as "homosexual", and on and on. The trans movement is deeply, deeply homophobic and its supporters are, too.

To suggest that there is a singular or majority cause of people (including children) trooning out is incorrect, but as @Sourceress says, a significant amount of these cases wherein a child is trooned involve a gay or otherwise non-conforming child. The idea is not that these parents are evil uber-conservative homophobes, though I'm sure some are, it's that having the excuse of "your child was born in the wrong body" reassures them and neatly explains their non-conformity and same-sex attraction. This is appealing to many confused parents.

Well, I'm not saying they're the same thing. There are some parents who find the diagnosis of "trans" reassuring. And like I said, it's stupid to claim there is only one majority cause of trooning. I do not believe "transing the gay away" is the main motivation at all, or even a significant one. I've noticed the ones who troon out their kids for woke points tend to have younger children. I don't think any child under around 12 thinks about their sexuality or "gender" at all in a meaningful capacity without prompting from parents.

1. Men have sex with women.
2. Outlier man wants to have sex with Men.*
3. That person becomes a former "man," and is now a woman (or a "third" sex, but definitely NOT a man).

Getting the same - a quarantine - for ItsAFetish is the next project, and will likely be harder (cataloguing their subreddit is harder, since it involves actually wading through their sewage rhetoric)

A rare moment of unintentional self-reflection on his part. /u/Bardfinn has become the narcissist he once claimed to reject.

One more thing. /u/Bardfinn is trying to make his vigilantism on Reddit seem like some kind of ethical stance and crusade against "hate groups". His crusade might have started out that way but at this point, with /u/Bardfinn targeting even the likes or /r/detrans as a "hate-group", his vigilantism is definitely not about some ethical argument like, "it's bad to make fun of medical patients' botched surgeries, regardless of whether it's trannies or anyone else" or "it's bad to turn medical procedures into an online spectacle regardless of what the medical procedure was". Penny certainly never had a problem with his fellow League Troll /u/T_dumbsford turning people's actual deaths into a spectacle on Reddit. T_dumbsford himself died in the privacy of his own home and no one on Reddit enjoyed the spectacle of /r/watchinghimdie

Furthermore, and this is yet another example of Penny Oaken's blatant self-serving hypocrisy, /u/Bardfinn himself was a regular on /r/WTF for years, where pictures of disturbing medical issues and deadly accidents were regularly posted for the users' amusement (if you follow those links you will see that /u/Bardfinn himself participated in both those threads). Was /r/WTF not making light of medical issues and accidents, turning them into a online spectacle? /u/Bardfinn never seemed to have a problem with such a thing back then, and happily participated in the frenzy. /u/Bardfinn only developed a sudden sensitivity towards SRS being turned into a spectacle online when it concerned a medical procedure that he desperately craves for himself. There is nothing ethical about this sudden sensitivity, it is completely and entirely self-serving and opportunistic.
