Quoting some of my earlier Discord Opa findings. I don't think there is enough evidence to say "Opa left his wife and kid so he could fuck PK," that's wild baseless speculation, but I don't think that PK and their crew helped in any way. I can't remember if there was actual marriage counseling involved, but he definitely spent a lot of time using the Discord as a personal grudge-nursing box and getting one-sided affirmation that she was an evil triggering bitch. The fact that he is now claiming his roommate also displays "abusive" patterns suggests that the problem does not actually lie in others.

The best part is where Opa spends time trying to get the chat to tell him he's justified in being culturally insensitive to his ex-wife's family because Juletta's dad *performed pretend oral sex on a woman's hand without consent* - French man flirts amorously with woman, news at 11!

But like, it sounds like Juletta was a French citizen that moved to the US. I dunno if she was here on a visa, but if she was here originally to marry Opa, then super screw him for putting her through this. Getting a US visa takes so much time and red tape and money (I've had to do the process personally) - that I can only feel bad for Juletta having to scrap that and return home.

Even in the logs he's more annoyed about his friends being inconvenienced, and being petty with his ex-wife over like....just making sure he makes some nice memories with his daughter before she leaves for a country that's an 8 hour plane journey away.

Also holy poop that Pepper scene was wild. I like the part where it just suddenly dovetails from "this person was upset at your sarcastic comment please atone" to "BUT DID U KNOW THEY HAVE MENTAL ISSUES AND SOME GUY BEATING THEM HOW DARE" to "HERE'S A STORY ABOUT MY BROTHERS DIARY BEING STOLEN AND SOME KID BEING A DICK ABOUT IT OH OH MY GOD PLEASE NEVER JOKE TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN"

It's not like Pepper isn't complying with the situation, the last part is really screwed up.

Considering the other company Opa keeps, and the fact that the father-in-law thought it would be funny to make such a joke around them, I would not be surprised if Peter and Marianna were inappropriately creepy weirdos just like Glip, in which case his wife's defensiveness would be totally justified: she woudn't want her soon-to-be-ex spiriting her kid away to sketchy friends without her supervision right before they're about to escape for good. No matter what happened, it's a great example of him making mountains out of molehills and trying to find any way possible to hold grudges and loudly virtue signal.

This whole exchange chills the blood, quite frankly. There's absolutely no reason why "You're taking our kid to hang out with these random friends of yours? No problem, I'll come too" should be getting this heated of a reaction even if Opa's circle of friends weren't brimming with pedophiles.

I don’t know if I was the only one who had their details back then but I didn’t contact her or give them to anyone else.

I don’t think opa needed much help to break down the marriage if he was aggressively and blatantly hiding things from her, and baiting her into being the abusive partner
