Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

It continues to weird me out that how this thread is a right wing hugbox and the the_donald thread is a left wing hugbox, yet both threads seem to mostly just ignore each other. Shouldn't the threads react to each other like antimatter?
No because while the faggots in that other thread might be dickwads and wrong about everything, they're my dickwads that are wrong about everything and I fucking love them and will defend them forever.

Which is how it is supposed to be.

Fuck yeah.

Well.. almost everyone...
To be honest it's just way too serious in there. When they're on topic it's funny, bit there are just pages of bitching about how Trump is evil and republicans are stupid.
I think some derisive laughter might be good for them, they need some self awareness.
I mean shit, the right has tons of lolcows, it's a shame to miss out because of political team sports. And just laughing at the lolcows on the left is so one note...

This thread could use a bit more derision as well. It gets a little cringy in here sometimes too, its good to get called out on it every so often... Let's break the hugboxes open.
Or all just point and laugh at me, that works too. In the end aren't we all dickwads who are wrong about everything?
Don't drunkpost, it's bad...

We aren't a right wing hugbox. People who have legit, valid complaints about Trump are welcome, but this thread is mostly for talking about the daily liberal meltdowns about the latest media lie, or people holding Trump to a different standard than Chocolate Jesus because he's on the other, bad team. So when people do bitch about Trump, they're expected to have a legit & relevant issues they can defend, and not just have a "Orange Man Bad" screed.

There's also the occasional low-effort troll, where I expect them to at least put in more effort than the Borat role-player gimmick account, but am routinely disappointed as they fail to meet that low bar.

I hate lefties in a way that illustrates wonderfully the limits of the human capacity for language to convey the true intensity of human emotion; there are no words that can fully convey how I feel about them. It would be impossible for me to fully express my feelings about them without the aid of a baseball bat and a would chipper for the sole reason that I've said some completely bland shit about matters completely unrelated to race and been called a racist for it one too many times. It's old, I'm tired of it and you call me "An embittered enemy" you'd be completely correct. Wherever they rear their heads, they inevitably insult me and shit on something that I love. Nothing brings out what I hate about the American left like Trump. All of their pathologies are suddenly on display.

All of that being said, I'm no loyal trumpista. If you point out some weird-ass, stupid shit that Trump says, I'd be inclinced to slap you on the back and buy you a beer as long as you don't start shrieking about Russian plants and concentration camps.

This is precisely why I don't want the West Coast to fall. The morons inhabiting it would move on over en masse to the red states ... And they'll definitely bring their politics with them and ruin everything.

I know this has been memed to death, but this is exactly like cancer. Got to stop it from spreading throughout the entire body.
Sad to say, this is already happening really, because things have gotten so dire in blue states, not just the west coast. Californians are migrating en masse, many of them ending up in Texas in particular. The Illinoisans/Missourians and New Yorkers are flooding out of Chicago, St. Louis, and NYC across the Midwest and New England. A few years ago I was working downtown (Cincinnati) and a handful of the people I worked with there came from these places, out of maybe 100 in my department. Which is not an insignificant percentage.

The reality is that these people who are already doing what you're worried about are not fleeing Democrat policies, at least not knowingly. They are Democrat voters. Only one of the people I mentioned previously was right leaning, and he was more of a Ted Cruz guy than a Trump guy. For most of them they've been convinced that all the problems in their states/cities of origin is that the Democrats there are not working hard enough to turn them into liberal utopias. Despite seeing the failures of Democrat governing first hand, they still somehow blame the right for the problems in those places. Look at the people who blamed Trump for the state of things in Baltimore recently, for instance, despite the city having been run by Democrats for decades.

I wouldn't call them cancer because cancer dies with its host. They are more like termites who finished eating one house and moved to the next. They are already bringing the baggage of those places to other states, and the states being affected are rather important in the grand scheme of things. States with clear leanings like Texas, and battleground states that decide elections like Ohio.

Instead of cancer just call them what they are.
Overgrown children.
You know because they are quite literally running away from their problems and refusing to take responsibility for why things got so bad in the first place.

It always amazes me how proud they are of that 98% statistic. If anything, it shows that black women are the most dangerous voting bloc to our democracy. It shows the most cliqueish, gullible, and unquestioning voting pattern of all demographics recorded. I can only imagine how much shit that 2% gets.

Not really a hugbox I'd say.

The only time we really praise Trump is when he pulls a really funny tweet out of his ass to see the deranged reactions of the media and the celebrities who rage about him on Twitter. I as well as others disagree with a lot of his policies, but we don't think of him to be that bad of a president. Though most of the people who comment here, lean more to the center-right, I'd say, most though.

The r/The_Donald thread isn't really a hugbox, it's just a regular community watch thread that makes fun of people who suck Trump's dick, so people of all spectrums are there, and those who dislike Tramp can get a good laugh at the r/TheDonald people whose politics are just mostly either reactionary or incel-lite.

In reality, it's just two threads laughing at people and having a good time while doing it.

How much you want to bet that in that scenario the likes of California and New York will try to find any any excuse to weasel out of their precious compact?
My money is on the them "remembering" that until the compact has 270 votes locked in it's not legally binding.
Or maybe they'll just go full fuck you Drumpf and the record for the most faithless electors in an election will get smashed by a 150 votes or so.

I'm calling it now, when Trump wins in 2020 there's going to be a huge push to convince the electors to "vote your consciences" and either cast votes for the Dem or at least cast enough faithless votes to throw the election into the House of Representatives.

Black women who don't want to work? Why I never...

They already tried that in 2016. Clinton lost more EC votes than Trump did to "faithless electors." It was hilarious. I do hope for a repeat because it'll be even funnier this time.

Didn't they try that already in 2016?
I remember they got all of two electors to ditch Trump and ironically 7 or 8 electors voted for someone other than Hillary in her States.

They did. If I'm not mistaken, it's also legally questionable, at least in some states. Stupid idea, really.

When I see tweets like that, it is amazing to me that the left doesn't understand why people like Trump.

He is one of the few people that is able to throw all the shade he wants at these obnoxious jerks that normal people have to smile, nod, and pretend to agree with just to keep their jobs and not be made into a social pariah.

If it were real you would have seen stories about how stupid he is, and that Aladdin wasn't the genie anyway.
Although he'd deserve some scrutiny if he really said that...
Yeah honestly I thought at first that one was real and him doing that trick again.

Can't wait for the main event. 2020 will be a wild ride, that much is certain.
2019 is already a wild ride.

Can we all stop for a second and appreciate the fact that not only again are Kanye West and Taylor Swift on opposite sides, but that it's Kanye on the MAGA side and Taylor Swift on the woke side!

What a time to be alive!
