I just wanna reiterate what a handsome, intelligent, and erotic man said last night on the Killstream:

Matt is obsessed with the IDEA of being a successful YouTuber.

Same way Chris Chan is obsessed with the idea of being a successful comic book artist and Mr. Enter is obsessed with the idea of being a successful children's TV cartoon writer.

He's tried a bunch of different schemes to try and get there, like his old coverage of E3, short films, Poley the Polar Bear, GamerGate anti SJW videos, 3 Buck Theater, reading the news, filming DVDs at stores, etc. He'll create new shows, channels, logos, etc. without realizing that it doesn't work if you don't have an existing fanbase.

He doesn't care how, he just wants the fame, recognition, and money that comes with making it on YouTube as a respected creator. He just doesn't want to accept that he has no charisma, and even though having no charisma doesn't mean you can't make it on YouTube *cough* YongYea *cough*, Matt's actions have made it impossible to overcome, no matter how hard he tries.

He's just too much of a narcissist to admit defeat and will probably keep making YouTube videos until he dies.

I said this not too long ago, but what Matt is essentially doing right now is flailing around looking for another hit. All these changes to his channel and new approaches to his videos is him trying to find a new angle that will bring him success on YouTube again. If he finds it, whatever angle he used will suddenly be the new Matt.

But it won't work. Partially because he's boring, but more importantly because there isn't anything genuine about him. Everything he puts out online is just a front that is hiding his true personality.

The most recent video where he "broke 1500" was that one about him being unverified, where he got 5k views, which was his biggest one yet. People are only interested in seeing him fall.
