Interesting. It seems this was a case where a previous final judgement on the merits should have prevented the lawsuit in the first place? Not entirely sure the TCPA was the right tool to get rid of that lawsuit, considering the lawsuit shouldn't have been filed in the first place. Well, at least it's possible to beat the deadline on appeal, although it is a weird case.

The Houston appeals court appears to have just done what the trial court should have done on time. The TCPA applied to the second case as much as the first, but the analysis is different. Res judicata can be raised by affirmative defense and that appears to be what happened. In this case, the defendant showed by a preponderance that the TCPA applied and the plaintiff failed to show a prima facie case both times.

The second time, it was remanded for sanctions sufficient to get the plaintiff to stop doing that.

The picture I'm waiting for is when they lose, either at the TCPA or on Appeal, or even the final loss, and they break down into ACTUAL tears, not the fake bullshit they were doing for the camera. The look on their face when they realize that this is real life, not twitter, and actions have consequences, will be delicious.

Hate is a strong word, but I honestly believe I hate these people. Never met em. Never want to. They're melodramatic clowns. Adult babies with the same temperament as when they were screaming tears as infants when their parents didnt let them have their way. Fucking "picture of the goddamn century".

I dont like that they sit on their laurels of championing these people who've done nothing to prove their claims besides: "He did it. This is what happened and when and how". No one in Jamie's corner and counsel remotely attempted to seek a recording or a tape from that day in Funi's lobby to btfo Vic. Because theres no sensible reason for that place not to have cameras. There was no attempt for Monica to submit a police report. She never told anyone about this situation. Which is interesting because that would've been an easy lie to make. Kara Edwards even did that for as retarded as she is. It's bogus and these people eat it up all in the name of "Fuck Drumpf". Nothing about actual sexual assault.

There are a lot of VA's that only, or mostly, work in their home base or region. A lot of Funi actors don't even work for Sentai, which is also in Texas, and vice versa. Then there are some that bounce between the two Texas companies but don't venture out to California or New York. Many VA's stay within their cliques.

Then there are actors such as Vic, Crispin Freeman, Yuri Lowenthal, and Steve Blum that work for every company under the sun and a lot of times send their work in from their own home studios.

Yes, all of you were doxed, including Vic, sweetie. Also is it really doxing when most of the information provided can be easily found in public records online? If it's public then either you put it there or allowed someone to. You just don't happen upon a social security number.

She also says doxed like anything happened to any of these people besides, funnily enough, TUG who they doxed and smashed his property.

Of the four you mentioned, Vic's the only one I know off the top of my head who has done voice work for both LA and Texas. I don't recall any Funimation or Sentai works Crispin, Yuri, or Steve have done.

Ron's SSN (I think it was Ron's) was purely the fault of the court. They're supposed to redact that information, but whoever was writing up the docs done goofed.

Even if you assume Mr "I wanna buy a million dollar Audi" Toye doesn't have identity theft protection or a bank that has any concern for keeping its customers, you can do jack and squat with an SSN anyway. It's not like Joseph plastered Ron's CC# everywhere.

Both have posted the unredacted legal documents over the course of the case, but it was most likely Shane who gave out a doc with the ssn.

Steve has done alot for Funi, but I wouldnt call it his home base. Isnt he LA-based?

Crispin Freeman voiced Alucard in all Hellsing releases. Including Ultimate, which was a Funi project IIRC. He also reprised his Zelgadis role in the Slayers franchise for Revolution and Evolution-R, but to be fair, I'm actually not sure if he worked for Funi or Sentai at the time. That was during that confusing time when ADV became Sentai and Funi bought a lot of their titles.

As for Lowenthal, he was Sasuke in Naruto, which is a Viz property, as well as the main character in Gurren Lagann. I know Funi had the rights to the show, but maybe they got the rights later on from Aniplex? I legitimately do not know, I am recalling stuff off the top of my head that I could be misremembering.

What I do know for a fact, is that the Texas clique, for the most part, stays in Texas, while the rest of the VA scene is more keen on movin' around.

And IIRC, JosephTX doxxed his SSN on here, but it was already made public, am I right?
