I think a pretty big red flag with Chris's gender dysphoria is that it's not just he hates being seen as a male but he openly admits to hating men in general.

Chris would need a lot of therapy to sort out his gender issues.

I think a more comprehensive explanation than mere noviophobia (though that is a large piece of the puzzle) is that Chris feels victimized by the mere existence of people who are more successful than him. We have the obvious examples of Adam Stackhouse, the high school graduation trauma, and Wes-Li Sonichu, yet one of the things I found more interesting about the Liquid Chris saga was how it really seemed to get Chris's goat when he was compared to his successful doppelganger. Regardless, Chris has exactly two strategies when he's feeling oppressed by the existence of successful JERKS.

• Insist that he has some sort of special circumstance that makes up for his failings. Autism is a popular one. So is stress. But any excuse will do -- like how Sonichu is done with Crayola markers instead of digitally like Asperchu.
• When #1 fails, deny the validity of another person's success. Yes, even if that person has a PhD and is rich and is good-looking.

If Nietzsche had tried to publish On the Genealogy of Morality today, his editor would've crossed out several pages with this note in red ink: "Your detailed explanation of what comprises slave morality is really not necessary. Just tell the reader to go to the CWCKi and read Chris in his own words."

Chris stopped writing Sonichu because he's lazy and with Lego he now has a different outlet for his fantasies and coping with his frustrations. Stuff like the Simonla speculation is amusing, but the sad fact of the matter is that before trolls hijacked the production of Sonichu his output over the years was already a trickle -- all he needed was something that provided him with more customized and instant gratification before even that trickle stopped. Remember: Chris taking a year to finish a 50-page comic was the standard before his discovery by trolls. So the combination of being more paranoid about trolls, depression, and his Internet hiatus is what led to him stopping production. If Chris really felt embarrassed about his magnum opus he wouldn't have tried to do Sonichu commissions nor would he have shown us his Lego + Crayola Clay Sonichu.

As far as Chris hating himself because he's a laughingstock with no privacy and future: I know it seems counterintuitive that Chris would be pissed off and sullen and despairing at the disaster that is his life, but remember that the last person Chris will ever blame is himself. Chris simply does not connect his current misery with how Great Director Chandler behaves. Not even when the causality is as clear-cut as getting in trouble for trepassing, vandalizing private property, and spraying pepper spray at bystanders.

Nah, Chris has a very sizable, healthy ego. We've seen how Chris views himself as above other, lesser people. No amount of trolling or legal trouble takes away from his self esteem. He simply hates being a man, because men are dumb, stupid jerks. In fact, recall that before becoming transgendered (or whatever he calls it) he very strongly considered himself among the few decent men on the planet, another strong indicator of his self confidence.

He used to make videos all the time announcing himself and showing off his stupid sonichu stuff. Now he only pops up a couple times a year to beg for sympathy, because he knows he's a lolcow. He used to act like a happy 7 year old. Now he just acts like a sad broken man. He was perfectly fine with being a man up until a couple years ago. It may not be good enough evidence for you, but I don't think there is enough to prove that he actually has gender dysmorphia either. He puts the bare minimum amount of effort to call himself a woman. It seems more like some type of ruse that only makes sense in his own head.
