I think the biggest problem is an individual can't even begin to understand what the other individual thinks. For example, as a biological male, I can not fathom wanting to be a female.

Chop off whatever body parts you want and add others on, but that does not change biology. It simply makes you a male who has transformed their body to LOOK more like a woman. Um, yeah, even if "all you want" (which is BS) is to be like the other sex, it's physically, literally impossible to change your sex. A man in a skirt doing his best to look like a woman is still a man and has no business being in women's spaces, period. His presence there is a violation of women's spaces, rights and boundaries. Of course not, but we have to worry about those that could and would if given the chance. If I see a man come into the restroom dressed as a woman, how do I know that you are one of the "good ones"? I don't. So there is always going to be a little bit of anxiety produced. Same as when I'm walking down the street alone at night. The guy walking behind me is probably a decent guy -- but what if he isn't? So you go into hyper-vigilant mode and pay attention just in case he might be one of the bad ones. Because over-reacting might produce anxiety, but under-reacting might get you killed.
