Hah called it, they're replacing Funimation with Aniplex and just giving Aniplex the funimation facilities.

I suspect they are keeping the Funimation branding as the better known entity due to the streaming service. But no fucking way anybody from the Texas Frat House of Sin ends up at the top of the heap. Aniplex's people are probably running the show going forward. Aniplex was Sony's long time in house arm. Funi is just some idiots they bought.

Well hey guys, I think the weebs should be more grateful that Aniplex is further pushing the western anime market to be like the Japanese anime market where it's like 80 bucks for 2 episodes. It's more authentic that way!

Was RWBY really that big a deal? I stopped watching their stuff after they made Red vs Blue serious and it was obvious that Burnie was stroking himself at this point.

When it started, yeah. The color trailers were nothing the internet had seen at the time. And then Monty died and he was put on a pedestal. And then Volume 5 shat the bed something real bad.

And this is why Sentai Filmworks will become the savior of anime after having risen from the ashes. Slow and steady, Sentai. (Also thanks, Sentai, for the heads up about Tsuritama going out of print. Gave me that kick in the pants to finally remember to buy it.)

It's been years since I've seen anything from RT. I used to be a fan, but the last I heard about her was she was a moderator or something that got "promoted" to social media handler. I thought she was literally eye candy that had a personality of a wooden board when ever she was in a video. How the fuck is she in charge of anything other than social media?

Did she do anything recently that showed her being worth a director of anything status?

Also I do remember her fondness for drawing dicks.

I mean it is possible, but I was expecting writing credits or something. Anything that would make me not think she blew her way to a position.
