Yeah, little kids drink like that when they're goofing off. Phil does it unironically.
You can never know if any streamer is trustworthy. Was it a drink or was it a mouth wash? Maybe it wasn't even his own arm holding the mug. Maybe he styled his face this ugly on purpose. Maybe it was all scripted. You can never know the truth! But if you enjoy the streamer then just believe anything he says, no matter what he does and says. Everything else is wild mentally ill speculation based on a snippet of truth. Now give him money, he really needs it, don't ask questions and doubt him because the truth would hurt his business, a scam just works as long as nobody does the research. You want to bring him down, destroy his wonderful relationship with his wife Khat *thumb to door* and dox his cute cat Mister Jasper? This is the level those mentally corrupted detractors work on, ack ack ack, but in reality Phil did nothing wrong.

Here is a perfect example. In the third quarter of 2016 he made those instant noodles, I don't even know how they were called anymore. Like noodles in a cup, noodly cups, uuh, yeah, Cup Noodles. Okay, Cup Noodles. You may not know but they were heavily promoted by Final Fantasy, they had a huuuge impact on the overall gameplay, okay. So this food, which was very inexpensive by the way and 70% off, was supposed to be easily snack ready, for a small wallet, you know what I mean. *lipsmack* He went out of his way to buy two, yes TWO, of them and one heavily lacked the promised khantent of authentic Japanese shrimp, right? And to be very honest, not even lying, he made huuuge money during that time, big times. But then Machinima fucked him over, idiotic booksmart dorks. And with his very expensive coffee machine, which he completely could afford during that time because the future was so bright he had to wear sunglasses, uuhm, he made them, uhm, readily digestible. And now watch this, they called him out for, hold your phone, they called him out for eating the noodles with a spoon. Yeah. ACK ACK ACK. This is so stupid, you have to hold a very distorted very child like view on the adult world to make observations like that. It's completely fabricated! Not true at all! He used the spoon to show that you have to use a FORK. Because those Asian nudniks are too incompetent to make spoon adapted noodles!

The bottom line is, he had food stuck in his pig like mouth.

Imagine if Phil would just explain himself in 20 words or less.

"Dude! Anytime you ask for a contribution, people will call it begging!"
"It's also called Crowdfunding!"
"Obviously, those that don't like me are going to call it e-begging!"
"It's called, 'You need funds to survive! Because you provide a free service as a job!'
I don't charge for the service of putting out my streams and videos. But I need people to contribute, in order to pay my bills!"

Providing a free service as an act of volition is usually referred to as charity. You're not providing a free/valuable service to the impoverished here, Phil, you are the fucking charity case and you know it all too well. And yet in some way I think he may have also conditioned that swiss cheese brain of his into believing that he's offering the world something of genuine value that's of cultural benefit to society or something. Blows my mind when he talks like this about the Free Service that you have to pay for on a daily basis to keep in operation.. in a Job that's Not a Job but may or may not be a business depending on the weather and how much is left in the rainy day fund.

I don't charge for the service I just.. charge for the service. :story:

He must thank his lucky stars his audience is full of burger king crown and bib wearing sychophants willing to pay for the privilege of having a fat ginsoaked loser read their texts off a decade old teleprompter.

We all have those days right? Where DSP's existence just annoys you a little more than usual. :heart-full:

"Some people just think that I'm full of it! And that I don't need financial help! That, apparently, I have money, that I'm storing in the Cayman Islands Bank. Or something. When in reality, I'm struggling to pay my bills every single month! And-- And make ends meet."
um, no one said anything about the cayman island, okay?
DEBUNKED!

funny how phil is uberanal about details and is willing to toss something out as debunked just because it gets one detail wrong
but he's willing to had tons of incorrect details himself

Guys, I'm going to be honest. This week has been really bad. I can't pay my bills. I might lose my house. My bank account has been in the red all month. Please tip. I have no money.

Oh hey! Jasper! No! Bad kitty!

Ack ack ack! I bought a bunch of Halloween decorations the other day and didn't have time to put them in the closet amd now Jasper is ruining them! Don't eat that Jasper, you'll get sick.

There's no way less than 3K of those aren't permabanned shit posters.

I debated seeing what the number would be if I only counted those who said more than 1 thing, but there are plenty of shit posters who are able to talk a fair bit because the mods aren't actually there.

Is there a way to filter it down to see how many accounts were able to chat there for more than 1 day? Does that effect the results at all?

In the vein of the ‘rainy day fund,’ did you notice one of the times he brought this up, it seemed like he thought having an offshore bank account in the Cayman Islands means you for some reason have to move to the Cayman Islands irl?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed to death before, but I couldn't find much on it using the search functionality. From the Life and Death of DSP timeline made by @Lurkette and posted by @Haunter yesterday, I found out about the whole incident between Isaiah "TriForce Gamemaster" Johnson and DSP back in September 26th 2006. There's an audio recording [YT] of an argument between TriForce and DSP that was hashed out on a small radio program, call-ins handled through Skype. The radio presenter servers as a mediator between the two. It gets pretty heated, and Phil throws out strong words at TriForce insinuating he's going to beat him up IRL if he continues to say hurtful things about a friend of his (called Nester) on the Shoryuken (SRK) forums. I'm just wondering if there's more information about this somewhere.

There's some great quotes here, and funny parallels between "old DSP" and "modern-era DSP". Such as calling TriForce a pussy for fleeing from confrontation, when modern-era DSP is so sheltered and censors criticism he dislikes. In many instances, it's as if 24-year old Phil is talking about his 37-year old self.

every other streamer does it! LOL NO THEY DONT. the ones who did end up here, the ones who did end up like you, the ones who do beg end up being made fun of. i know a ton of streamers who have an actual job to support themselves and come home to stream for actual fun. they want to make it a lifestyle but they know it cant support them, one guy who plays smash every night after work and gets 10 viewers for the last year hasnt begged NOT FUCKING ONCE.

so dont give me that bullshit that every other streamer ebegs. id rather give my money to a homeless person than someone begging in a furnished house.

Yea there’s a big difference between “hey you can sub if you want, but you don’t have to” and “I’m in debt and really need your tips, tips help me the most”.

For someone who claims to not watch other streamers he sure as hells apparently knows what other streamers are up to. Does he even list any streamers who ebegs?

He can't, he's lying. Even e-girls don't beg for money this badly, they have something called self-respect.

He has to believe everyone else does it, has to believe he's just another face in the crowd. Otherwise he'd have to accept the fact he's begging disabled people and children for a living. What would you rather make yourself believe? That what you're doing is normal and just part of the job? or that your life's work has made you the literal definition of beggar?

I think he wants to believe he has some shred of dignity left despite his very regular behavior.

He doesn't.

He says this in the most autistic way on his prestaram: “TIPPING IS APPRECIATED BUT NOT MANDATORY”

the people i watch dont even say anything. they only say "thanks for the sub, thanks for the bits, thanks for the tips"
and its even more than that. even a 100 bit and it makes their day. thats the sad part, phil mocks people for not giving him enough, hell belittle his whales. hell laugh at people every chance he gets, he has no shame, he has no humility, he is just a tyrannt.

i cant stand seeing people support this lazy fat fuck so he doesnt have to downsize his mansion for his family of 2 and get a real fkin job. not while theres actual decent human beings out there providing real content and are beyond happy with what little you give them while not asking anything in return. but phil he just wants more MORE MORE GREED GREED GREED. GIVE ME MORE! its sickening to say the least. and it is no surprise why hes in the situation he is in now. he wants too much he doesnt know how to have a meager life and be thankful for what little he has even though he has more than he deserves.

spoiled since birthand rotten to the core

sorry for the rant, back to the point. not once has a streamer i watch even so much as hint to sub, tip, bit him. not even a teeny weeny bit. cause they get home FROM A REAL JOB! sit down and stream for FUN, aint like theyre double shifting, streaming isnt a fkin job phil! and are happy for what they do get.

This was in 2006, so DSP is approximately... I don't know early-mid twenties? Holy shit, sounds like a 14 yeas old. What the fuck happened to Dark in his later 20s?

He says this in the most autistic way on his prestaram: “TIPPING IS APPRECIATED BUT NOT MANDATORY”
Followed by a “not mandatory but it keeps the stream going”

God him and this fucking exercise bike. He talks about being an adult but he’s saying he might have to take a half day off for a bike. He acts like he hasn’t taken a 10-15 min break mid stream before.
