Funimation and Aniplex are not merging. It's more like Funimation spun-off their streaming business. Aniplex owned two foreign anime sites, one for frogs called Wakanim and the other for kangaroo fuckers called Anime Lab. Soyny is merging these streaming services with Funimation's so that they're not buying the same shows multiple times. These three sites are being managed by a new company owned by Aniplex and Funimation.

Unless you're in France or Australia the only change you should see is that Funimation will start streaming more Aniplex shows.

Sure, rumors have been around since 2009. I've started to go to cons around that time and rumors did exist, but nothing as severe as PEDOPHILIA and RAPE. The only thing I had heard is that he's "an asshole" and "only signs canon material". Asshole is a broad term and over the years in a shitty game of telephone have some of the rumors drastically changed. You can call anyone an asshole, that's fine. Monica is an asshole. Sabat is an asshole. Sean is an asshole. This is subjective. Creepy is as well.

A lot of these people think adults shouldn't hug younger people because that's "creepy". That's all a matter of opinion. But these fucking weirdos think that under NO circumstance should an adult hug a minor or even a woman who looks young. All their minds are sick and perverted. They are sexualizing children and young women... and any act between them an adult is automatically "sexual". Give me a break. These people are fucking gross.

Point is that it is okay if they think he's creepy and an asshole. I think Monica and company are all fucking creepy assholes for hounding a guy on social media for NINE fucking months. If that isn't a creepy obsession, I don't know what is. The issue we have is that they are accusing him of CRIMES. Being an asshole is not a crime. I have no idea how this merger or whatever it ends up being will pan out but I'm not optimistic with it being Aniplex. Their pricing model is a very none starter for most people and even if they have a series I'd like to own I don't care. There are several similarly expensively priced things that I would rather spend my money on.

I had thought that Aniplex could be the "premier" brand while Funimation is the "economy" brand. But if they are doing this to streamline everything to a streaming service then that means they want standardized protocols, tech and communications between all branches.
