The wokest people of Reddit here to tell us how wearing a hijab is cultural appropriation as non-Muslim white people.

Most comments demonstrate the most vapid, SJW understanding of Islam like a race or culture you posses with certain qualities and attributes that belong to that group no one else can infringe on, and for Muslims hijab is the marker of their exoticness that belongs only to them.

There are other ways to dress modestly that aren’t essentially pretending to hold an identity that you don’t.

Being Muslim isn't a religion you practice and believe in. It's just an identity one holds that adds to your oppression points.

A hijab is a specifically Muslim garment.

Hijab means "veil" and a woman's scarf is khimar. Nothing about wearing a scarf on your head is intrinsically Muslim, even in a tight style, and this is how Orthodox Christians wear scarves.

Aesthetics are great! Especially when you can skip right past the obscene amount of racism and prejudices directed against a group of women for wearing the hijab! God, wearing religious articles of clothing is so much fun when the negative stigma doesn’t apply to you or your life!

YTA. Stop adopting cultural and religious items for your own aesthetic.

The reason Muslim women wear hijab is for modesty which is the same as what the OP was doing.

You took a religious garment and turned it into a fashion accessory

Except there's no special meaning to a scarf and any scarf can be a headscarf.

I'd love to see these people get their asses handed to them soon enough if they ever come across real Muslims.

Exactly. It's all catering to a certain kind of customer's worldview to move product. As opposed to you know, making it taste good or something. It's marketing.
They're trying to make money off of a non-firearm product that has no real connection to firearms with pro-2A imagery and jargon. Just pointing out that they're doing the exact same thing in the opposite political direction.

And even then they screw up, such as the Black and Tan fiasco, and other stuff.

Haha I was about to post the exact same picture of Russian women. Truth is women around the world used to cover their heads all the time until indoor plumbing and frequent showers became a thing. Easiest way to keep your long hair nice was to braid it and cover it. Also Muslims want everyone in the world to convert to their (stupid and wrong) religion and want to make all women cover their heads, so on what grounds would they ever object to a filthy infidel at least covering her voluptuous locks?

In Christianity, especially like Orthodox Christianity, it's a religious thing. It shows women's submission to men, Christ and the angels I believe. Korean women used to cover their heads and faces with a garment called Jang-ot. Here's a picture of one if your scroll down.

I think I know why amitheasshole attracts so many wokers. It's a sub where people bring up contentious social situations and you get to judge them and berate them about what a terrible person they are and call them a mean name. It's the SJW's wet dream come to life. A place where they can perpetually be the asshole.

More WOKE ICE CREAM for fat vegan prostitutes

I bet one day a company will get themselves into trouble with this.

"Popeyes loves the African-American community"

"Our tacos support Mexican hookers"
Proud delicious ice cream for sex workers and it's a plain vanilla looking ice cream. Not gonna be surprised if the ice cream has a salty taste to look and sound like it's for them as part of a woke marketing gimmick.

Imagine this bitch being your fucking therapist. Someone you fucking pay hundreds of dollars a month for who is supposed to understand and support you who is writing an article essentializing your race as being the cause of all your psychological problems and mental illness, attributing your behavior as a byproduct of your race, and suggesting you need to be cured of the intrinsic illness of your race. When would it ever be okay to suggest being Asian or Black is a mental illness and we need to cure Black and Asian people of their destructive Asianess or Blackness?

Fucking cunt should lose her license.
I read this whole damn thing, and I still have no idea what she’s talking about. On the one hand, gee, it’d be so nice if all my problems were down to whiteness. I can’t do a damn thing about it, and neither can she. Great way to dodge responsibility for your own shitty coping mechanisms.

What I really love about the article is the talk about Afrikaners. They’ve retreated behind walls topped with barbed wire and guarded by Boerbulls SOLELY because their racial superiority is threatened! Not because, oh, maybe, there’s roving gangs of shitheads pouring bleach down babies’ throats and eviscerating the mothers? It takes a lot of effort to wall off a compound. Maybe, just possibly, it’s in response to a real existential threat? Naaaahhh... just white fragility.

I couldn't finish reading it. I was too disturbed thinking about some poor random who goes into her office hoping for some help dealing with their suicidal depression or traumatic memories from Iraq and instead gets some shit about being pathologically white.

Teen Vogue decided to resurrect this topic today. I’m surprised people still read this.
“Emotional labor” is the biggest scam and the greatest con these people have pulled off. Yes, using a gif you engineered to be expressive and funny costs *you* something every time it is used. lolwhut

The concept of "emotional labor" was originally meant to refer to things like having to stand there and smile as a customer berates you at your retail job. Now it just seems to mean having to exist on the same planet as people you don't like.

Maybe I hate these people because they’re way better at milking free money than I’ll ever be.

Don't even fucking bother watching the new Netflix film "In the Shadow of the Moon" the plot twist is how this biracial woman is saving the world by killing people for being right-wing, like reading books on the Founding Fathers, because the American racists start a civil war for the US and the white race and kill everyone.

Netflix has gotten to the point they're suggesting killing people for the race war.
