What the fuck is even the point of this rule change? I don't see much changing apart from making things UNCLEAR and VAGUE so that it's now easier for whiny pissbabies to get people and subreddits they don't like banned. Just look at this:

"
Following them around the site, encouraging others to do any of these actions..." I wonder if this will apply to subreddits such as GenderCynical, a subreddit dedicated to mocking the women on GenderCritical - which certainly constitutes encouraging people to follow users around the site, if not it constitutes following in and of itself (I have seen women post screenshots of messages they receive from GenderCynical stalkers), and it
certainly "works to shut someone out of the conversation through intimidation or abuse...", in this case women who are critical of transgender ideology. And that userbase does constitute a "group" (which again, is a really vague term).
I also wonder if it will apply to subreddits such as IncelTears, dedicated to mocking the pathetic men on incel subreddits and other parts of the web. The same logic still has to be applied here. What makes it okay for some groups to be "menaced" and "abused", but others not? Isn't the relentless bullshitting shutting people out of "the conversation"? We will not see these subreddits shut down or quarantined at all - only the subs guilty of wrongthink. It's not like I'm defending incels, but if you're going to implement rules, you should be consistent with them, and I highly doubt they will be.

THIS is the kind of bullshit this will enable, just look at these control freaks already crawling out from the woodwork. "Gamers rise up" is a subreddit that posts "we live in a society" memes, where people will pretend to be hard-done-by nerd/incel types who complain about Chad and Veronica. It's so fucking stupid they are calling a sub that if anything, makes fun of racist ideas, a place that "heavily features racism as its comedic lynch pin". There are fucking hbomberguy fans on that sub. With such vague new rules, you can twist anything into hate speech, including a sub as fucking stupid as "gamersriseup".
The announcement post itself is the most telling of all:

I wonder who all of these users were. Could it possibly be the giant droves of shut-in SJWs and mtf troons who coincidentally make up a huge number of the site's users and a number of powermods? This has so obviously culminated as a result of these degenerates complaining every chance they get. "
There was a problem with the narrowness of our previous policy", AKA
"the rules didn't let us ban whoever we wanted based on hurt feelings! Better REEEEE about it so that the Reddit admins make the rules completely pointless to cater to us!"
And again, what do they mean by "groups"? That's one way to make the meaning of "abuse" impossible to pin down. Did they by any chance have the Reddit Troon Sturmabteilung in mind when going out of their way to include "groups" in their new definitions?
