I think you guys are slightly missing the point. Jerry exclusively consumes children's media, he judges every kid's show as it pertains to his life. It's not just that it's not ok for a children's show to be remotely scary, it's that it's not allowed for anything to be remotely scary. Kids don't need to grow up because nobody does. I'll bet anything that the argument of "Spongebob used to have jumpscares" or "kids play FNAF" would just be proof to him that we need to censor more media.

That was actually the conclusion that I drew from that. "Kids don't need to be scared! The only things they should be exposed to is Happiness, Excitement and Whismy!". He seems to think that that growing and learning is a experience that only begins once you reached your teens when, in reality, it begins when your born and only ever stops once you die.

-Lindsey Ellis complains about Disney keeping the monarchy while Lily complains about Cartoon Network forgiving the diamonds
-there are already massive media monopolies, true, but none of them are the size of Disney, and none of them have such a looming presence over their properties

You know, it might just be me, but Lily's Mismagmus reminds me of another Mismagmus character from an older Pokemon comic I used to read along time ago; Random Doom by TamarinFrog on DeviantART.
I wouldn't be surprised if no one here has heard of it, the comic came out during the days of Diamond and Pearl, over a decade ago! But back when the internet could still be considered semi-fledgling, that thing was all the rage with Pokemon fans, especially on DeviantART (the less creepy side at least). I remember that comic alone getting the artist a million page views on her DeviantART in about a year or so. And remember, this was in 2009, a million page views was a really big deal back then, and it wasn't undeserved. For a late 2000's fan comic, the art was pretty top notch and was well written enough to be believably set in the Pokemon universe.
But I'm getting off track, what does this have to do with Lily's comic? Well, in Random Doom a fairly major side character was a Mismagmus named Edna, a nosy trickster who was always trying to get into everyone business and learn as much as she can about everyone, and wasn't beyond a little snark or playing tricks on her trainer and fellow Pokemon when the opportunity presented itself.
Sound familiar?
Granted, a Pokemon like Mismagmus might be prone to falling into certain stereotypes and this could just be a coincidence, but I swear the two are almost exactly the same character-wise except for one or two minor traits. The Mismagmus in Random Doom semi-frequently broke the fourth wall as a gag and was one of the stronger Pokemon in the comic, so she had more of a spine. Other then those two differences, which I can see being changed so Gardevoir isn't shown up or made to look anything less then neigh-invincible, the two are almost exactly the same.
Then you consider the long history Lily has on the internet, going as far back as to making Pokemon fics around this time. So it's perfectly possible that little Jerry back then came across this comic and took a bit of "inspiration" from it in regards towards this character. I might be grasping at straws here, or maybe I'm looking for an excuse to spurg about an old comic I liked, but I think there's enough evidence here to point to solid "possibly". I honestly recommend reading the comic, if nothing else, it's a cute and fun read.
With all that said, ripping off another persons Pokemon OC isn't the worse thing Lily has done, far from it, but it's something I think worth pointing out.

So, dreams count as consent now in Lily's world? Isn't she an advocator for "yes doesn't always mean yes"? Hell, I have less control over myself in dreams then I do when I'm drunk, so I don't know what Lily's on. I mean, I'm sure she's going to rationalize this all away as "Psychic Pokemon power" bullshit, but I do find it funny that at this point there's far more evidence to believe that Lily wants to bang a Gardevoir then their is of Rebecca Sugar being a Nazi Apologist. I mean, she had her girlfriend draw her Gardevoir kissing her comic avatar pretty much out of the clear blue, even if it was just a dream it doesn't get more blatant then that.

So I figured, it was Gardevoirs wet dream in Lily's brain. Apparently Lily's been "playing sounding board" which means Gardevoirs been asking her shit just to test waters, so now the shoes on the other foot according to Lily.
So I guess it's Lily's turn to get all hot and bothered and ask Gardevoir things? That's what I'm taking away.
This comic is autistic. Lily constantly talks about exploring ideas or themes or characters, but it's all either one note or handled so poorly that the intended message is lost. The only real take away is "Gardevoirs make me really fuckin wet".

No no, I mean I'm thinking the first version of that dream he had 10 years ago that happened the same night that Gardevoir mind-fucked him is the reason, and going to be Jerry's justification, as to why what happened is not considered rape; because people can't control what happens in their dream, he wanted her to kiss him in the dream, and something something autistic shenanigans something something ITS TOTALLY NOT RAPE U GUIS. That's the theory anyways, and what Jerry appears to be alluding to.
I'm not saying that the one that just happened in those panels was what caused the mating bond; the one that just happened now while she was in bed with Ralts was just the second time it happened, only there was no Gardevoir rape this time. ...As far as we know, at least.
