I'm wondering if the daughter is really bi or if she is saying that to please her dad. She came out shortly after his transition. It is possible she wanted his approval or that, in some way, she thought that loving her dad meant loving both the male version and the female version and she somehow twisted that to mean she is actually bi.

IMO. Being Bi is the easy way to be 'different' but also stick to your heterosexual preferences. Remember what I said about how personal blocklists end up becoming general blocklists. the same thing happened on Twitter. TERFs started using BlockTogether to set up their own Cult Blocker of Twitter troons, but Twitter ignored that and started using all the troons' TERF blocker lists to determine which TERFs to ban on Twitter. Put the list of TERFs that got blocked next to the list of accounts that were already on the TERF blocker lists on BlockTogether and you will almost see a direct correlation. Someone's personal blocklist became the general blocklist. Instead of protesting the very idea of such censorware, TERFs thought they'd be safe on Twitter if they just set up their own block list.
