I may be entirely wrong, but tutankhamunnn, for instance, is still on the lifetime cheering leaderboard at #4 (the 220,000 bits one) and shows up as "anonymous" now.

The thing is the last security update for an OS isn't a problem so long as you're smart enough to know what not to open and where not to go, traditional rules of internet safety still apply: They can't fuck up your computer unless you give them the door. That said Phil is the last person I'd think of when I think of a "Power User" capable of making risky choices like that, he's also the sort of person who has a lot of alogs constantly wanting to get at him. Not a good mix.

If you're reading this Phillip I'd suggest you upgrade asap. Honestly should have done it when 10 was free.

Here's the monthly roundup for September 2019. A few notes, as always: 1) cheers and subs are pulled straight from Twitch chat, so they're 100% accurate; only issues would arise from my internet going out and missing some of chat, 2) tips are more incomplete than usual this month; I just don't really feel like digging through and getting all the $1 and $2 tips identified. I will include the tips total, and the incomplete breakdown of tips that I have.

Also, there's apparently a character limit now...so I had to remove the tipper breakdown almost entirely, and I removed all cheerers who cheered 100 bits or less. The cheer and tip totals are still correct, though.

He can obviously hear the game. He yells when it's loud but doesn't have the awareness to realize he could just turn it down.

I would not be surprised if Phil damaged his hearing by having loud headphones on every day. They are too loud to hear his phone ring or the doorbell.

I would also not be surprised if Phil was not utilizing his $500 headphones by having them set up too quietly. He can clearly hear when a truck is driving passed his house and a when a dog is barking down the street.

I have no idea. I do know that the ears, nose, and throat are connected. His nose and throat are fucked up. Could this affect his ears?

On second thought, his ears are obviously fucked up since he claimed his teachers taught him "save your money for a rainy day" literally meant "spend all your money when it rains".

Gotta say I’m over this “Chill” stream phase he's been doing. Every other game he plays has to have the preface that it’s really not about the gameplay and more about interaction....so just cut out the middle man and stop playing the damn games. Plenty of twitch thots steal money in the just chatting category, he could sausage up on the couch and do even less work

His constant obsession with thinking he has to play a game and having his streaming career defined as being a gamer is just so weird when he also constantly has to remind his fans that the focus of the stream isn’t actually about the said games. I just don’t get, imagine a world where dark just played games he actually wanted to on the day streams and just hung out at night for an hour or two, he’d probably be a lot happier.

I still stand by he should just become a reaction streamer, just tell your fans what movie/show you’re about to watch, give them a minute to sync up with you and just watch shit with them. But no, Phil is a real gamer so he’s gotta constantly be playing games even when he makes it pretty clear he doesn’t want 2

That's a very safe bet, as the man himself has stated many times that he updates nothing on his systems. He's running Windows 7/8 (I forget which, though it'd be especially funny if he stuck with the Frankenstein's monster that was Win 8 ), which as others have recently pointed out is reaching end of life and will stop receiving updates.

This would affect some people, and may be an impetus to upgrade, but not Our Boi. He's just gonna keep on keepin' on until one day his fans finally fail and the ten year legacy of dust inside his cases catches fire and, inshallah, burns his fucking house down.

EDIT: yeah, I'm being optimistic as fuck. He's in a middle unit and knowing his luck his would be the only condo that survived such a disaster. He'd still have the gall to use it to beg afterward, though.
