I figured this was likely ever since the shitshow that was the 6th, but was almost sure once he warned the defendants they would likely be back in 3 months. Of related note, I tried checking Nick's twitter for confirmation, and it looks like it's been suspended again. Wonder which glorified law office coffee fetcher or beached whale is behind this one.

People were tagging him in stuff a lot and he called some lady FAT so they probably mass flagged him. I'm sure he'll be back.
 
I'm waiting until I see official confirmation of all cases dismissed since all I see are a few exceptionals stroking their chodes with no sources.
 
Appeals would almost certainly happen no matter what. The only good news for Vic is that, because everything was dismissed, he is allowed to appeal immediately.

My predictions for the appellate court are that there are at most two claims that might be able to pass the TCPA, the defamation claim against Rial and the TI with Kamehacon. I would still say the most likely end result is that everything gets thrown out, but those two have a chance of making it past this stage.

Still not seeing any sources for saying everything is dismissed. Just 2 spergs who joined in less than 24 hours agreeing with each other and shit talking.

The dallas morning news is shit but it has no reason to lie about this one.

This is actually a fine scenario, I think Chupp is just saying "Appeal it, see you in 3 months, i'm not going to bog down the system with cross appeals"

The only thing this gives the defendants is the PR win and the case largely gets quiet from there, which actually gives Funimation more possibility of settling at this point

i'm saying "right now" for a reason. A lot of it was already dismissed in the TCPA hearing so instead of having to wait for everything to be ruled on to appeal AT ALL he can now appeal it all in one fell swoop. That severly cuts down the time this takes i think

Honestly it is, he can appeal everything, that means Marchi is not out of the fire, and the entire case is looked at again by the appeals court.

Any partial rulings would have been dependant on the defendants appealing before Vic could appeal, this way everything is back on the table and appeals court decides if it's valid or not.
