I'm a little disappointed about the news, but that's life I guess. I'm just wondering what's going to happen to this sub forum now that, if they do appeal it will be several months till we hear anything. Is it going to be torn down or used for other topics?

There will never be a time where I don't have grave distaste for Specht, among every KV figure-- and Doucette fights hard for that, outright lying about the law for partisan purposes because he's not useful for anything else. She's a bottomfeeder that only ever got any acting accomplishment she has by Vic-facilitated nepotism or being Vic's girlfriend/fiancée, but just as easily decided to directly contribute to his noose fund presumably because Vic wasn't interested in being her "in". She's a snake that doesn't care about women nearly as much as she cares about herself, as anyone with a brainstem would be able to understand from her popping all that good stuff about Vic getting arrested in February, only for her to now be like "now maybe true healing can begin". Again, Vic and Chuck repeatedly talk about how terrible it was that Vic cheated on her, but she's squandered every ounce of pity she was ever entitled to by being a pathetic sack that'd stoop as far as to endorse the words and actions of anyone who'd slag her ex-fiancée.

Hard agree. It still boggles my mind that she uses STC to promote herself, like using her role in it to get convention appearances. No wonder, since it's her only notable role. So she uses it to be able to appear on "women in sci fi" panels - a role that was written by Vic, in a show that was written by Vic which took part on a set built by Vic. She has no business to tout herself as someone who is some sort of pioneer, since the only thing she ever did for Sci Fi was fucking Vic and then doing a mediocre acting job on his show.

Not to mention that, although she seems to be of the belief that Vic is a sexually harassing and almost raping monster, she has no issue to keep fondly referring to STC. I thought Vic deserved to lose everything? I thought her friends were traumatiued by him and now can't even be near him anymore? But apparently her uploading screenshots with him in it, using the show to promote herself and until recently even having a banner on her twitter with Vic as Captain Kirk is A - OK.

Lastly, the stuff she likes is actually disturbing. Vic seems to feel genuinely sorry for cheating and only has kind words for her, meanwhile she's liking borderline sociopathic stuff on her twitter today about how Vic'll lose his house to Monica and Jamie. I think it was a gift from God for Vic that she broke up. I hope Vic's new girlfriend is not only hot, but also a good person.

Well, Laura recently recited the lead role in the new FRUITS BASKET show and the ADR director is Caitlin Glass, whom Vic still considers a friend. But I doubt it because I don’t think she recorded her lines in TX (she lives in L.A.). As for Travis, even less so.

I don't think so, many people know they are rotten to the core and given that it's the old guard that are doing damage to the brand it's gonna be hard to redeem themselves unless they give FUNI over to Vic (which is impossible). They can't settle because they had the chance to do that in February but they pissed all over that.

It’s easy to get emotionally riled up and lump the entire Funimation staff under one grotesque category, but that ignores the fact that the world is shades of grey and that some employees are trying to avoid as much drama as possible. I think a lot of people know that the problem isn’t Funimation, but a group of people running it like a shitshow. Take them out and I think Funi will thrive.

I agree that Funi should’ve settled back in March, because if they had done so, Vic would still be working and Funi would still have half of the fanbase that they lost this year.

As a small note, never do this in real life, the smell of whatever fire you are using to roast a marshmallow sticks so trash fires or gasoline fires leave marshmallow with a disgusting smell.

But yeah, most people have to remember that Discovery is going to be excellent if you like idiots being exposed. Because Kickvic track record shows they are shit at covering their tracks, so everything is going to come out.
