It's pretty bleak, isn't it?
The 2010s is ending on an interesting note, that's for sure.
What the fuck is the 2020s going to be like?
Most of our franchises were deflowered of their grace and many more are on the way of the chopping block.
I already made a post talking about how this is part of the cultural stagnation we are all in.
@GeneralFriendliness compiled the available leaks and wrote them down on page 709:
There was another post, where he covered a few other moments that miss in this version.
I think there will be a few minor differences between what leaks we have and what will happen. As of now, we mostly have a few "hotspots", connected by guess-work and some of the hotspots themselves will be off a little, since the leakers don't have all the facts at hand or some already revised scripts and least we forget: Reshoots are happening as we speak. But the general idea of the plot and its beats will be something along these lines.
If we post these spoilers on various media (and apparently /tv/ is in on the fun already), we can effectively take away a few emotionally manipulative twists from this movie, so they no longer woo what few enthusiastic viewers it will still have. It's not en par with "Dumbledor dies", but still...
SJW-dom going the way of the dinosaur and becoming a laughingstock like Hippies are nowadays.
SJW-dom has always thrived on virtue signalling and people pretending to be Rosa Parks for tweeting about 72 genders from their local starbucks, but it's become harder and harder to really stand out with that as time moves on, so I expect the next hot topic to be "climate change" and we've seen the transition from SJW to Climate Change recently.
My hunch is that the hanger-ons of the SJW movement will move on to climate change, once that takes off a bit more.
Meh, Climate Change was always a thing...its only being brought up more because of Greta the goblin girl.
I used to think Climate Change was a thing (and I still do in a much smaller extent) but after this? I think the world will be alright for a few more dozens of years and this is just an instrument for control by the elites (as fucking always)
Disney still pushes them on all fronts, but unlike Minions, they just find next to no traction.
They are "cute" animals from a movie, so some kids will want a Porg-Plushie, but they won't go apeshit over it like Disney hoped...
Perhaps if they made cringy facebook """"""relatable""""" posts with cringy sentences.
But seriously, my only good porg scene is when they are being eaten by Chewie.
"The blackest eyes, the devil's eyes"
I've made several remarks about the infantilization of the consumer. By keeping morality in films very simple and characters basic, the idea was to have basically anyone be able to project onto the characters. I think that this has actually damaged the moral development of the newer generations of western society. To whit, I will provide an example.
I was speaking with someone and the subject of ANTIFA came up, and they said that they thought it was their right to punch Nazis. I then asked what would happen immediately after that and he shut down. He had no idea how to respond, and when I said that the person or people he assaulted would turn and beat the shit out of him (muscularly atrophied soyboy. It'd be a slaughter), he tepidly denied it.
When the media and the news do not ask questions and impose black and white characters, with protagonists without flaw and antagonists without virtue, it pollutes the inner philosophy of the viewer, and it makes them think that they too, are the infallible, impossible hero, who cannot ever be wrong or flawed.
This is why I support having complicated and sometimes even uncomfortable morals in movies, books, television, video games, etc, for all ages. I'd much rather tell a child through media that the world can be complicated and that you can be wrong than what I see the mainstream pushing. It breeds nothing but extremism and divisiveness.
These soyboys and bitches werent never raised to see themselves and wonder if they arent the bad guys. Sometimes, we gotta look at ourselves and see our worst enemy, but their uprising and egos make them impossible to see themselves as anything but the "heroes".
Thats why Im afraid of these people ever getting power. One thing is you KNOW you are awful and just roll with it.
The other is you being incapable as seeing yourself as anything but the hero of everyone's story.
