Of course it has, but so was the struggle for more equality, which turned into a fight for social justice.
The thing is, we nowadays see a frenzy amongst those that support protests against climate change that we have never seen before. People seem to genuinely think, if they don't burn SUVs now, they'll be dead by next year . . . and thus they are almost justified to burn the SUV drivers (who are worse than Hitler!) right with their cars. Demonstrations and protests have become a lot more aggressive and self-righteously furious.
That's why I think virtue signaling shitstains will gravitate towards it in the future. Social Justice is a dead horse and you can't stand out on that topic any more. But climate change, that's the new hot shit to be pants-shittingly angry over, these days.
