You know, she's told this story a thousand times now on the campaign trail, but if you roll all the way back to an interview from 2007, that's absolutely not the reason that she gives for leaving her teaching career. According to that interview she dropped out of it because it "just wasn't working out for [her]."

All you have to do is stop lying.

To be fair that 2007 answer is no answer at all and is the kind of thing someone would say to gloss over an unpleasant memory.

Bootygig, the same can be said of anyone. Chinese people have no idea what it's like to be Irish, African people don't know what it's like to be Polynesian, dogs don't know what it's like to be cats, rocks don't know what it's like to be trees. Please just stop talking, this word salad means nothing.

There's absolutely no reason for every single person to be aware of every last iota of every single person's personal experiences, just go with "Everyone's going through some shit, so try not to be a dick' and knock it off with this dictionary-sized Oppress Olympics horseshit.

Cisgendered is a such a useless word.

He could've said "As a white/Caucasian gay man" and it would've retained the same meaning.

This debate tonight is gonna be so lit.

In retrospect, not letting Fox News get to host one was probably a good move for the Dems. They would have so much to answer for.

I think this blurb right here from FiveThirtyEight perfectly encapsulates how radical the Democrats have become. There's only two comments right and now and one of them is taking exception to this exact same line.

If merely saying you don't support aborting a full term fetus except in an emergency makes you persona non grata, that says a lot more things about them than you and none of those things are good.

As long as Trump keeps pumping Tariffs he will get the labor vote and win.

The stack used to be:
Republican: Country Club Party, Majority Socially acceptable positions (Pot is bad, Christian morality, etc.)
Democrats: Labor/Unions Party, Minority Socially acceptable positions. (LGBT, Drugs, Atheism, Basically all that clown shit)
In this way they kind of balanced each other out.

Now the stack is
Republican: Labor Vote, Majority Socially acceptable (Pot is not SO bad, continued christian morality, etc.)
Democrats: ??? Vote, Disenfranchised Country Club Voters?, Minority Socially acceptable (LGBT, Cancel Culture, Identity politics, basically still a bunch of clown shit.)

So to Reiterate:
Repubs: Labor, Socially Acceptable policy.
Dems: Capital, Socially unacceptable policy.
"What do you mean Red Team has the Labor vote? Totally false, they are the rich people party, They still have libertarians!"
Trump took PA. That is scientific proof he has labor. You know why he won labor? Because Labor wants tariffs. Tariffs on trade, and tariffs on the amount of people flooding the labor market (immigration).
Aside from Trumps personal mishaps, what policy has Trump implemented that's socially unacceptable? Putting children in cages? Doesn't matter, labor wants it's "people tariff" and it will get it's "people tariff."
Trump has not entangled himself with Drugs, or LGBT, or Abortion, and is (on paper) anti-war.
So team blue is stuck with: Management (Like Silicon Monopoly Valley, Wall Street, and Big Oil.) And a bunch of clown shit. This is not a winning strategy.

The dems can continue to deny this political re-alignment is occurring, but that denial will only lead to Trump taking far more than just PA.
Betting on Socialism isn't going to work either. Socialism is a logistical dead end, and Tariffs are much more palatable to voters.
Unless they get their act together Dems are going the way of the Whig party.

I'm not sure the Democrats will completely collapse like the Whigs, but otherwise you are spot on.

My best guess is that if Trump wins in 2020 and The Squad ends up being removed from office or otherwise disgraced and neutered by their own party, the Democrats will go through yet another realignment and redefine their platform and the hardliner socialists will once again be sidelined to the third-party fringe.

The only reason why I don't think the Democrats won't collapse like the Whigs is because there's not really a major third party that's in a position to fill that niche right now nor is there an issue so massive that it could shatter the Dems completely.

Part of what killed the Whigs was the rise of the Republican Party in the late 1850's. Before 1860, the Republicans were a "major third party" similar to the Libertarian Party and the Greens of today. What allowed them to become one of the two main parties was the slavery debate. A lot of the abolitionist Whigs switched over to the Republicans and the Whigs collapsed as a result.

As horrible and polarizing as socialism and identity politics are, it's not quite yet on the level of severity as the issue of slavery was in the 1840's and 1850's.

Thanks, Sams, I needed to cringe my ribs through my spine tonight.
I'm more disturbed by his twitter bio "There's no such thing as someone else's war".
I can just smell the NeoLiberalism/Globalism though my screen.
Not to mention that it's just blatantly wrong as well.
The End of History was a mistake.

Edit: Aw, he deleted it. If you're going to be lame at least own it, Sams.
It's so great when idiots act stupid on Twitter and people join together to dunk on them. Like I'm glad someone dug up this tweet about an incident which I'm sure totally happened.

My bet is either did not happen or that Woman wanted to give Harris false hope so that Harris would waste money in SC instead of a state that actually could flip Blue.

After all, the later is something I might consider doing and if I thought of the idea than it is highly likely someone else also has.

Really? Did this man just make an "and then the entire room applauded!" post? Dude, even freaking Tumblr stopped with those in 2016. This is just sad.
