macie, the entire continental system doesn't even have the institution of tort in the way you see it. also, i never spoke about civil lawsuits at all. this is a criminal law matter here.

Marjan, I will explain how the "public figure" concept works in American law:
When you gain a certain level of public awareness and reputation, you transcend being a "normal person" and become a public figure. As a "public figure" you have less rights and protections from statements and scrutiny leveled against you. Everything these people are saying came from your own words and keyboard. You were verified when you entered this site. That means we have proven who you are and all your statements are coming from you.

Defamation is a CIVIL OFFENSE, not a criminal one.
Posting someone's information online (real, fake, false, true) is a CIVIL OFFENSE, not a criminal one.
I'm literally staring at the Croatian and European lawbooks right now.
What part of this site, in your opinion, is a criminal offense? What crime has been done?

The public figure clause is used elsewhere too holden. Also in this case if you sue, you are the plaintiff. There is such a thing called venue.
If you sue us, you better know the laws of the country of the person you are suing. Chances are to sue them you will have to go to their courts. No one will care about judgments from a Croatian court. It will matter to them though if the judgement comes from their home countries court...

Again @Holden there is the issue of "venue". You are the plaintiff. You have to make us pay. It is on you to come to the court of people who you are suing.
Americans have it a bit differently thanks to the whole "Reserve Currency" issue, but often even we have to sue people in their own court systems rather than our own...

See how this works? I can use The Pirate Bay as an example... their assets were seized by the country their servers were in because they broke the laws of that country. Have you noticed that they relocated their servers and are operating again? That's because the law of the country a website is based in is the law that is enforced. The Kiwi Farms servers are in America, not Fuckbotistan as you believe.

I've literally got an international lawbook in front of me. I have five tabs of Croatian and European law open. So tell me. What crimes have been committed on this site?
Remember, defamation is a CIVIL offense, not a criminal one. And I've already shown how it hasn't happened on this site because, even in Croatia, the defamation has to have some sort of harm/injury done because of a breach of duty where a duty existed.
