Sometimes the mods have a bit too much OCD and will move content a bit arbitrary. Don't think of it as punishment, they will inform you if they want you to feel that way. You will come to appreciate it, as this place is chaotic enough as it is. Some tidying is welcome 99/100 times.

Forgot another tranny subreddit that joined the war, r/contrapoints.
They also made the same sticky "in solidarity to r/actuallesbians", which is basically an invitation for brigading.

This one is even more ironical, since the ContraPoints tranny had his own controversy about tweets that he made where he was talking about how non-binary people are not really legit and how he is one of the few real old trannies. Which did lead to him stopping to use twitter and to give his account to some PR tranny who just posts whenever he makes a new video.

The pedo stuff died down because the LGBQ community kicked them out. NAMBLA tried to associate with them in the beginning, but gay people told them to fuck off. IF (and it is highly doubtful this will ever happen) the trans community ever decides to stop with the bullshit self-ID thing and kicks out the fetish driven AGPs from their midst -- they might be able to achieve acceptance. Unlike the LGBQ community, however, they have absolutely no desire to kick the predators from their midst. In fact, the loudest mouthpieces out there for the trans community at the moment are the AGPs.

So, no -- their moment likely will not come. Eventually, the vast majority are going to hit peak trans unless the trans community wises up and stops pushing this "you are whatever you feel you are" nonsense. Oh, and they also need to accept that biology is real. You can present as the opposite sex all you want. You cannot, however, actually become the opposite sex.

This was at least partly for PR reasons. A significant minority of the gay and lesbian community of the day supported paedophilia as part of their movement, but the leading lights of the time realised that it would have been a bridge too far to include paedophiles in the movement. They've been biding their time.

The idea that faggots just want to fag without all this abusive baggage seems alien to these people. I just want dick. Leave the kids and the sausage mincer at home.

I know they like to think trans backlash is akin to gay rights backlash, but it isn't, because being gay and being transgender are not even remotely comparable, the only reason it gets conflated is because most normies assume MTF transgenders are gay men.
It will never play out the same way. To be pro-gay rights, you don't need to deny reality. You don't have to be forced to use language you don't want to. Being gay doesn't make you a long-term medical patient. Being gay is something that just exists, and you can choose to be accepting of it or not. But being transgender always requires people play along with a fantasy, and more often than not also requires medical intervention. You can be attracted to the same sex, but you can't be born in the wrong body.
