Atleast here, even though she's reiterating the same story for the millionth time, we can tell that what they have placed is apparently a j-tube not a GJ or g tube. But of course she will say this single tube is somehow in two places at once until she gets it changed. Or will they place an entirely detached g tube and we will get a whole new saga from that? The anticipation is killing me. Her PayPal excuse is bull. If two people ask to donate to you, give them an email, you don't need to Shill it in two different places constantly for people to see unless you're ebegging. And what she is doing is begging just sounds like very poorly.
And if her hair is that thick after it's been falling out in clumps she should consider herself lucky instead of complaining about how malnutrition has taken everything from her. Although, why are the “parts of daily life” that she wants to share the be ones where she gets angry on the internet trying to justify and detangled the lies she’s made in an attempt to make things seem medically worse than they are? I was literally dying when she posted this earlier. Like you have 19k followers whom you freely post your kids and naked body to on a daily basis. There's no way that's her 19k most closest family and friends. Most of them probably only get a heart emoji or a thank you for their long and heartfelt messages to her.

LOL if you look up real cases of munchausens it is FULL of people finding ways to get tubes, ports and the whole 9 yards put into their bodies. Even mbp patients. Gypsy comes to mind. There have been other children with feeding tubes and several surgeries they didn't need. People legitimately fake cancer and go to infusion centers to show proof and all have been proven to have factitious disorder or to be malingering. She probably was an avid jaq supporter considering she's a vlogger herself.
As for everything else. She should understand that we're only calling out inconsistencies that she has publically displayed and that it's mostly the fact that she begs for money and support 24/7 that she's even mentioned here.
I'm interested to see what happens with the tube saga as it has had so much drama already. I can't wait to see what happens if they have to do a full surgery to put a g tube in for venting. I'm sensing more utter chaos in the upcoming days. She also made sure to repost her PayPal again today even though it is already in two different highlights.

LOL I feel like she means she had to calculate from kg to lbs but any scale will go back and forth to show both weights and both weights show in the chart so no calculations are needed unless they don't want to look.

I've some experience with POTS. First, I wanna say that I think a lot of things get shoved under the POTS umbrella, including people that just don't drink enough water and are not active at all, and people who dont eat enough. That stuff all causes symptoms.

Mild PL, but some young and eager doctor tried to throw that diagnosis at me a few years ago, and it was quickly shot down by another. The issue was just that- I was dehydrated, not eating properly, and being a lazy piece of shit. I can see how easy it is for some to get that dx from a mediocre doc and run with it, despite never doing any real testing. /PL

I’m in complete agreement with you. Why do these munchies need a SD to alert them to be careful when changing positions - the other 98%-99% of POTS patients don’t *need* to be told to be careful when they need to get up slowly.

I really don’t get why munchies latch so hard on to POTS. Maybe I don’t actually understand what it really is, but it just sounds like usual shit that human bodies sometimes do, especially if you’re not living a particularly healthy lifestyle. Sometimes your heart beats faster if you stand up too quickly? Boohoo, stand up slower next time.

So yeah, a POTS service dog would just be for attention or an excuse to have a dog.

Correct me if I misunderstood; if sounds to me if a valid surgeon believes the surgery would have positive outcome, it would be good to consider heavily.

Woo woo dr’s suggesting surgery, esp after other surgeons of the non-woo -woo variety do not condone surgery, throws a huge flag for me.

So all of the munchies who are traveling across the country (or from outside the US) to see specific doctors just to get the surgery, they deserve their outcome.

But children should not be getting the surgery unless a reasonable specialist thinks it is a good idea - else it’s FD.

Actually I doubt she will get either daughter a surgery. Which I don't know if I'm for or against. While having your child get surgery seems terrible, young bodies heal easier and therefore the surgery would be the most helpful the younger she gets it instead of waiting til she can make her own decision when she's older. But either way I'm not sure if her daughters symptoms are even chiari related as I've heard the same cry from many toddlers who weren't having severe head pain. And she hasn't mentioned much besides her daughters clumsiness which doesn't seem too severe with the lack of scrapes and bruises. Chiari is one of those things that can be present and silent and only found on accident.
But I do know someone with chiari who got the surgery and is 100% symptom free now (when before she had full numbness of her arm and other scary symptoms). SOS will spread that there is no way at all to cure chiari, is very against the surgery, yet many who have the surgery are in essence cured now. So again idk what's right in this situation. Once a zipper is healed its barely noticeable as it's covered by the hair
I think her thought process is going to be the opposite of what you're saying. She's going to make sure that her daughters have less scars than she does so she seems like the most special sick princess and doesn't have to share that throne but will continue to get compassion and donations for her sick daughters to have every woo treatment in the book.

I don't know about everyone else but if I asked someone to babysit my kids and I knew issues might arise because of an illness they have, even if it was a cold/flu/chicken pox, you think as a parent you would disclose that information and on top of it create a plan should an emergency arise. Freaking out a few babysitters should not be something she's bragging about. She now implies that both kids are very chronically ill and have many things she hasn't even mentioned to social media and yet when L got tested for chiari she implied that she had just found out, that day, that her oldest daughter was chronically ill and that it could just be a matter of time before E shows symptoms and is also diagnosed with chiari or other illnesses. And why would you not tell people close to you, that's where your main support system should be. Not random strangers on the internet.



I don't think she understands that the way she is "helping" and "spreading awareness" is not the right way. You can bring awareness to a disorder without parading your sick children and yourself online in a complainative fashion begging for donations and gifts to ease the burden life has placed on you. There are different ways to find support, such as private Facebook groups. Sure, blog, but make them actually informative, not some personal belief system mixed with complaints about how your treated, how life is and how a disorder is treated. The fashion in which she portrays herself, her family and struggles online doesn't bring support or awareness to anyone but herself. Just more excuses to make her feel like she's in the right.
But hey she's going to pray for us because I guess we are suffering following her feigned suffering. I mean it is a slight annoyance after all that she does nothing but spread false information.

There is some belief that POTS, gastroparesis and Chiari have a "genetic defects" among them. I cant find any peer review articles so... its munchies way of saying "but I'm actually sick".

Also, the wind has blown that EDSers shouldn't be getting any shoulder surgeries because in true EDS they horrifically fail. How many EDS munchies are going to start fusing their shoulder?

I have a friend who struggled with PCOS and infertility before some fairly simple diet and lifestyle changes finally helped her have a baby, and now she runs a well-researched blog about healing PCOS and improving your chances of conception if you have it - it's not all about poor her (send money!) at all. (Her personal story is only mentioned on her 'About' page, where it belongs.) That's being an advocate for your illness and spreading awareness, and while I understand for some totally disabling/debilitating illnesses 'visibility' is important in itself, most of these women seem like they could shut up about themselves and just write an actually helpful 'What is POTS?' or 'What are the symptoms of EDS?' article without mentioning themselves once in a while, surely... yet it seems like way too much to ask for them not to make everything all about themselves, and that just means your 'advocacy' is only for yourself, not for your fellow POTS/EDS/whatever sufferers.

It looks like they actually placed a transgastric J-tube in her. It's basically a GJ tube without the G part. The balloon is in the stomach and then the tube just goes into the jejunum (those are the only mic-key buttons that have the "jejunal access" label). They can also be used in a straight J stoma, but not right after surgery.
It's technically a GJ tube because the stoma is in the stomach, and she can't fuck with her stomach and drain it. The doctor didn't lie to her or make a mistake, he outsmarted her and she's mad.
