"So I just saw something that came to my attention, wouldn't counter suing been, IF they were truth, the Vic lawsuit, that they could actually provide the evidence to support their claims? Just something that sparked a thonk moment. Now we all know why they didn't, but it feels like this had been a topic that was COMPLETELY avoided till now." No-one has a comment on this? I'm surprised a little cause I find that a bit of an interesting thing.

I don't know what cause of action they'd have to counter-sue him with.

Ultimately, the reason that Ty didn't stuff the paperwork with all the evidence they had against everyone involved is because they didn't have to. And really, they shouldn't. Funi et al purposefully front-loaded everything they had because they wanted to devastate Vic via PR as quickly as possible, as well as throw in a gish gallop hard enough to potentially poison the judge against Vic. And also because they literally have nothing.

I think that if Vic appeals he should probably do so with new representation. People can shriek 'the judge fucked us!' all they like but at the end of the day, you're always going to have to work with the judge you're assigned so you need to tailor your case accordingly.
Litterally the single smarted move KV's legal team made was the astute assessment that in Chupp they were dealing with a lazy fuck and thus offered him a powerpoint presentation instead of a case.

Chupp didn't even watch the power point.

I mean, this is the same woman who lied about being a Native American heritage, despite the DNA test of her confirming otherwise.
This is why they are losing, the open hypocrisy. If every sperg had banished Warren for being foe-cahontas after her ""tribe"" disowned her 1/1024th ass, than at least they would keep consistency. According to their rules, Warren culturally-appropriated which is one of the greatest sins you can commit against WOKE-ness, but since she is one of "theirs", even though the tribe she claimed to be a part of Disowned her and told her to fuck off - the Left is still grasping at her dress thinking she will lead them into the future. People getting to see how retarded the Left is being openly, is one of the few benefits of modern social media.

Even if Nick releases all his info due to the case being dropped in an attempt to burn the village down it isn't going to do shit because the VAs and people involved can publicly deny it all but go after the people who were informants and involved in supporting Vic, thus hurting any future chances he has of being able to get justice.

Bingo. That and as I said it will look like the action of either a sore loser or someone looking for attention. The worse it would do is probably create snide comments against those involved as if there wasn't a fair amount of that already.

The other thing is that by then I'd imagine a number of people would have abandoned ship. Why should they care anymore that the people maligning Vic were even worse than they thought them to be if he can't convince the court to lay the smackdown on their candy asses? Nick should just start incrementally releasing whatever information he has once appeals starts.

I think what Nick should do is exactly what he did the week prior to TCPA hearing, and that's release some information sporadically, instead of dropping the whole bomb on the city. Even if the appeals don't go through (and I hope it does) and KV celebrate like a bunch of fart sniffers, he could slap them out of complacency by doing one sneak attack after another. Nick has been extremely effective in getting under these people's skins just by showing a screenshot.

You want to overwhelm their damage control mechanisms to maximize the demoralization.

If Nick could segue into some of the leaks, on some "Before I get to chats, here we are (shows pic/plays audio), and let's see, $20 from SpergSuperchat!"

Vic is apparently a much better actor than Monica, at least, as he was able to actually summon tears. Unlike Monica.
I'm pretty cynical but in Vic's case the screwing over was fresh enough there was still some genuine hurt feeling to tap into.

Ty hired someone who was in front of Chupp a few times, I think Ty thought he was prepared. If the guy he hired let him down, I wouldn't blame Ty. If Ty ignored him, that's on Ty. We don't know enough but seems hiring a guy who was in front of him previously was an attempt.

I suspect Chupp is moody. Say 4 times out of 5 he's levelheaded. The fact this hearing was the week of a high profile case for Chupp that was flipped in appeal probably put Chupp in the worst mood of his professional life. This could explain why the hire didn't warn Ty. The hire may have never seen this side of Chupp.

Sabat isn't in this lolsuit, Vic can sue him yesterday if he wanted to. Whatever sped you talked to seems to think "rest of the lawsuit" and "entire lawsuit" mean separate things, as do you, but in reality you're talking about this one recently dismissed, which is the first round and is waiting for appeals. The second round, which might include Sabat and other cows like Armzgurl, hasn't been started except for some notices to not delete anything that were sent out. As always, don't believe everything you read on the internet, cause your source might be loltwitter
So if Vic doesn't get an appeal, can a second round still accure or start to make a seperate lawsuit (or whatever you say when you go after a new party)? I am now not sure if I actually thought they are seperate lawsuits or one big one but only related to each other as means to use information from the previous rounds for the current and future rounds. Weither those fail or not, it wouldn't affect the ability to go after the likes of Sabat or Marzgurl.

The comment I received, from what I understand, claims that because Vic failed to win, he can't go after anyone else.

He can only really seek money unless there's an alternate agreement in lieu of damages, so it's unlikely Armsgurl will ever be sued, imho.

I think the biggest problem is time. If too much time elapses, he can't seek damages. I don't recall the TX timing but we're coming up fast on a year.

If Ty was counting on discovery to decide whether to go after Sabat that case may be screwed. Just the time iis causing the deterioration of evidence. And depending on TX law, the 'statute of limitations' may expire.

Sabat seems to be on a PR tour trying to rebuild. I think that is why Nick is doing a show about Sabat. Sabat will get caught in a lie at some point.

Statute of limitations is one year. It would be cutting it close if appeals happened in 2 months.

That sucks. even if they get appeal that quick, it will take a while to get discovery going. Just the holidays will add a month to the delays. I guess they need to decide if they need discover to file against Sabat.

Otherwise, their best hope is that it is quick and the court decides on the TCPA charges and Moronica or Funi decide to flip on Sabat (or agree to a rapid dicovery) as part of a settlement.

[added] this may be overthinking it. But everything has played out perfectly to protect Sabat. Failing to comply with discovery, then filing a TCPA motion. Then going to appeal over allowing any of the charges. All these stack up to delaying discovery and "round 2". All these delays won't help Moronica or Funi, though. Sabat either has a horseshoe up his ass or some really slick gay ops were pulled. Food for thought.

Are you saying discovery games were on Sabat’s orders? Sorry, but Sabat being some Mafia don playing shadow chess just sounds too incredibly moronic and conspiracy like to be true.

In light of the recent false accusation against Robbie Daymond, it just solidifies how important it is to verify the source of information. There is a possibility that the accuser, the refuter, and the apology were all different people... But it could all just as easily be the same person... or whatever combination you can think of. It's easy to make up stories about someone. It's also easy for one person to make multiple accounts. One person can tell 10 different stories and now it's like they came from 10 different people. It's crazy to think about. You can't even tell whose side these people are on sometimes because you'll have someone pose as someone from the opposing side just to make them look bad.

But that's what made Monica and Jamie's accusations against Vic so damaging. Out of 99% of the accusations against Vic, they were the only ones who held weight. Their accounts are verified, and you know they work alongside Vic. What I don't understand is why with all the "proof" Monica had against him, that she couldn't just show something along with her initial post? She keeps crying about how she wants to move on and for all this to end... But she could have ended it long ago with that. Why didn't she? Her actions make no sense if she's being truthful. I doubt she's hiding things out of "fear for her safety". For all we know there's just one person sending her multiple threats to make Vic's fans look bad.

So... yeah... Moral of the story... random personal accounts of experiences with VAs should always be taken with a grain of salt. Makes me appreciate all the more that Nick verifies his sources multiple times. This is the internet, afterall... anyone can be anybody on here...

I do admit it's premature.

OTOH, Sabat has money and influence. This matters, Sabat can pay back what Monica and Ron lose financially as chump change to what he could lose financially to Vic. He can also give them jobs and promotions, etc. especially in the face the recent firings. It's not the Mafia Don nonsense so much as he's in a position to do Quid Pro Quo like no other player in this and the most to lose financial (aside from Funi). Why does Funi tolerate relying on a technical competor in Sabat's company? That's unusual. Why does Sabat have heavy influence in Funi's business with no named managerial role? It isn't because he's the only one who can do Vegeta's voice. He is a string puller in business for sure.

He's also tight with Moronica and Marchi in whatever casting couch shenanigans have gone on. Either together or knowledge of it. Because of that they're a guilty club of weasels that could bring each other down.

I'm looking at the effort to delay the trial and who has it benefitted the most? It is likely going to be Sabat.

I doubt that he had to order them to fuck around in discovery. That was probably the lawyers more than anything. Sabat just had the plan to use the TCPA.

Although Monica did seem to be... Exhausted back in February, enough to ask Funimation for help.

If anything Sabat made promises to Monica and Jamie to stay in the lawsuit, whether that was more work or convention appearances. Problem is now, Aniplex might be taking over the decision making at Funimation so Sabat can't follow through with his promises.

Edit: Sabat could have worked behind the scenes while Monica and Jamie were public faces.

Edit 2: I believe if this gets over turned on appeals the deadlines for delivering discovery does not reset. That leaves the defendants with about 2 days to comply before... I think they are in contempt of court?

They could also add Sabat to the lawsuit though I am unsure how successful that would be.

Possible, but here's the thing that also hurts the Shadow Iago school of thinking: we haven't seen a single contract between any of these parties:
Funimation
Okatron 5000
Shuiesha/Weekly Shonen Jump
Akira Toriyama himself
Toei Animation

Also, I really think people overestimate how much Toei cares about this saga. Hell, the KC thing might just be them going after Sabat for fucking with their IP and bottom line like they've had to do with Team Four Star, which is dealing with corporate overlords 101. And thingd like Monica breaking contract to do a signing at a comic book store is probably 150th on the list of things people care about. And the Funimation leaks (even though I understand the point Nick was trying to make) might not matter much because we're not the target for Toei and DB. That title goes to 13 year old Japanese boys spending their allowance/pocket money.

Honestly, the only thing I'll concede is Toei putting their foot down on Vic as Broly, and that's probably because they didn't to risk using a newbie on a major thing like a movie like a DBS film that's getting a theatrical release.

I think there should be a YouTube video response to TheHero, regarding his insane leftist political beliefs and how he believed Vic is guilty, despite zero evidence against him, he loves to share on Twitter. The fact that he would join the SJWs that he denies being part of and why he would join the KickVic group is just beyond me.
