I constantly find myself balancing the calling out of these idiots with the ignoring of their dumbasses to avoid similar issues. Alex calls me obsessed and shit cause I made some alts to call him out during the stream where he was straight up lying about me being a pedo. Honestly that they have to make this shit up and use it proves that I clearly threatened their glass world view, hopefully some of their veiwers will start to crack and shatter and just maybe they will see the light.

I'm of the opinion that astroturfing is generally a bad thing regardless of if you are left or right leaning . Astroturfing is probably the best term I can think of to describe this whole breadtube phenomenon, I remember when youtube really started going full hog on this stuff in the recommendations I watch pretty apolitical content, for the most part, it would always recommend either contrapoints or vaush and he has so many videos. I've only ever encountered one pigpuncher video in the wild and I initially walked away thinking pigpuncher was an edgy anti cop reference, not a minecraft reference. These days I see a lot of Jack Saint and a bunch of samey other reviewers mimicking his schtick, not so much contra occasionally peter coffin and still an absurd amount of vaush. I finally put two and two together when QuintonReviews started dedicating every waking moment to shilling for these people and mentioning the phrase breadtube on a daily basis. Back to astroturfing, It reminds me of all the odd1sout clones youtube was pushing hard last year that all completely fell out of the public consciousness after a few months and had one last hoorah in the will smith youtube rewind. I wouldn't be surprised to see these guys playing beach volleyball in this year's rewind. It's easy to produce fill in the blanks from the word bank below style content, take back the means of production, transphobia, Nazi, neoliberal, alt-right, capitalism bad, CHUD, our side vs your side, Marxist theory, etc that's really popular with the Reddit crowd and young adult crowd at the moment therefore generally unoffensive in YouTubes eyes whether you're bolting it to a film or game review or creating 4 hour rambling streams it fits. For as anti fascist and anti Nazi as they claim to be a lot of these guys seem just as irrational conspiratorial and downright hateful as a bunch of neo Nazis. The only way youtube or twitch will stop promoting this content is if the main viewer base gets bored and moves on, they find actual pedos doing illegal shit in the comments or chat very unlikely, or some madman quotes these dudes as direct inspiration for a mass shooting, its shitty but all youtube cares about at the end of the day is good optics and good profit margins, I'm not sure twitch even cares about optics.

I honestly never got why they excised him from their circles to be honest, he's a pretty easy to deal with foil whenever they want to have someone on the right to debate.

Funny enough, even with all the YouTube promotion and Quinton types shilling, the main complaint that you will get from these types is lamenting their stagnant channel growths. I think on a subconscious level, they somewhat understand that they exist in the acceptable parameters on youtube, just not where any actual market demand exists.

Its definitely a very insular community for sure. Even with all the talk of deradicalization from the new york times and youtube shills. Who would have thought the same small bubble of people would only be able to stipend a few creators online while also trying to provide for themselves. I tend to be more left leaning but I don't really get this at all it feels like small cults of personality and celebrity worship more than actual political commentary.

It is logical that their would eventually emerge a counter point of 'skeptic' youtube video's so it's not entirely astroturfed. The issue is it's artificial media promotion and the basic truth that this is an extension of the problems of the 'skeptic' community rather than a solution.

I agree that's actually really weird tbh. I could see wanting a moratorium on him occasionally if having the same guests over and over gets old, but as a recurring character he's pretty good foil material.

Thanks y’all, I really appreciate just the causal references. I am not trying to get people to worship me or come to my aid, yet hearing that I wasn’t terrible is honestly the best compliment for me. Maybe I will make some videos or something since I’m not shunned from the clique

Probably because they think he is an actual pedo. With that username and his voice, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. His defense of himself was to link a video where pigpuncher has logs of him talking to what he thought was a 14 year old girl. Regardless if the girl was 14 or not, he presumably thought she was, that is all the matters, not if she actually was. This is all "To catch a predator" had to do in order to get people arrested. If he really did sext a would be 14 year old girl, he is a pedo. I would have banned him too. His defense of himself was to link a video confirming the incident did occur....so........... It also says there was another teenage girl that Destiny confronted him about as well.

In the stream where vaush talks about "the spooky kiwi farms" I like how he says flamenco and dad are the only ones commenting here, ignoring literlly the 20 something pages and only focusing one part of the thread and nothing else. Also dad only appeared here like little over 2 weeks ago. You've been a joke here for a while Vaush. Same with pigpuncher. Mabye it's because you guys are the most exceptional.
