A model by the name of Samantha 38G came down with a bad case of TDS. Like Tara Strong bad. She was on Twitter election night sperging about how people are going to be killed in the streets now Trump has been elected. Of all the takes I saw that night that one was by far the most exceptional and that includes John DiMaggio's temper tantrum. I've seen more political takes from her and from those it's obvious why she takes dicks for a living because that and breathing is all she has going for her.

As an aside when I used to mod at an adult forum she posted at the moderations had a thread in the mods lounge discussing what a cunt they thought she was.

It would have to be something really fucking out there to get any kind of mainstream traction. Gay porn is a niche market (for obvious reasons) and everybody knows that porn is fucked-up industry with equally fucked-up talent (and if they weren't when they started, they'll get that way PDQ.) Also, the victims in question are men, so they're automatically less sympathetic than their straight counterparts.

Seriously, cannibalism would have be involved.

EDIT: Also, now that I think of it, the MSM would be loathe to cover it: admitting that there's some really fucked up shit in gay culture would have them quaking for fear of accusations of homophobia.

Didn't James Franco make a movie about some gay porn murder?

Also, I remember Gawker had big problems when they published a porn guy's account of fucking some married high-up in some NY business, and it turned out they were essentially enabling a blackmailer/nobody cared about the married guy so it just came off as outing someone for no reason. I believe they lost staff and reputation (if you thought that was possible) because of it, and it was seen as a precursor to the Hulk Hogan stuff.

But yeah, the closest mainstream media comes to gay porn stuff seems to be when murder's involved and/or it's particularly sordid, like blackmailing a sugar daddy or something to do with a Republican or religious figure. Anti-gay figures caught soliciting gay sex is certainly a niche in some news spaces.

This so much. Regular porn is fucked up in a crapload of ways that make it far more prone to drama than gay porn. Plus, there are no women to cry about so that is a huge minus and in the latest years we have seen the most vocal people about fags do it for political reasons rather than genuine concern.

If there was a note that one actor was infected and potentially made everyone in the gay porn scene get GRIDS, nobody would give a fuck except the people involved.

No, that was Peter Thiel. You're thinking of an article they published where they claimed the CFO of Conde Nast, David Geithner was flying to Chicago to meet a male prostitute. Problems with the story: Geithner wasn't exactly a public figure like Peter Thiel, and Geithner, unlike Thiel, wasn't out at all. It actually looks like the gay whore was trying to blackmail Geithner, Geithner told him to fuck off, and the gay whore went running to Gawker for revenge. They ended up pulling the story, but a bunch of Gawker execs took payouts and quit. Rumor has it Gawker ended up paying Geithner a large sum of money so he wouldn't sue them.

The story on Thiel came out in 2007, the story on Geithner in 2015. It was another large nail in Gawker's coffin.
