I've actually seen some artist types lament the downfall of Tumblr for that reason. When Tumblr had the porn ban take place the only positive reputation Tumblr had was for it's tagging system that made art and whatnot easy to find. Twitter has absolutely nothing like that, just a character limit and hashtags while sharing Tumblr's notoriously awful community.
Hell DeviantArt was better than Twitter too for sharing art, with higher resolution images and groups that could feature your image.
An unwritten rule among artists, content creators, and whatnot is that you don't attack or antagonize your audience, especially when it's over something like "why am I not e famous".
It seems to be difficult for most artists because I've seen it many times that the audience they have tend to be very silent, even to the point they don't really interact or promote their stuff in anyway, they are there collecting, but out of social fears never contact or really do anything to help these people out, so while the meltdown is over the top, it can be very hard to know who is in your audience when only 2-3 of them actually say something out of whatever potential number it exactly is.
Hell most of them may not even know who you are due to how your content gets spread and it's usually with no sources to where ever it came from. What people at the bottom like this struggle the most with is getting actual feedback and with the fur fandom your better off getting your feedback from people that will actually give you meaningful feedback, expecting feedback from a furry audience is deafening in the sense that hardly anything is ever uttered to you.

Not only that, but for a person with 28,000 unread messages it seems uncanny that they'd respond to a message near instantaneously. They've obviously just messaging on one account and responded on the other.

I can’t decide if Ask Papa Bear is cringe or dumb or a combo of both. His main message in every response he gives is invariably “yeah, that’s a problem but don’t stop being a furry because furry is never the problem and always awesome”.

It always seems like the people who are the most vocal about something tend to have more than a few skeletons in their closet. I've always felt that was almost always constant when it comes to people who have extreme opinions especially when they are on the internet.
