This was something else I disliked about CGI Clone Wars. Shaak Ti appeared in AotC and was to appear in RotS before being deleted out twice or more, so she was already a recognizable character from the films. Apart from her appearances in the Season 3 Kamino Arc and the Lost Missions bonus episodes, she was largely relegated to being a cardboard cutout/NPC during Clone Wars. Heck, in the Togruta Slave arc, when one would expect her to have strong feelings or an emotional response to seeing her species taken by Dooku to be sold into slavery, she appears as nothing more than a silent, stolid background character that doesn't even flinch -- leaving Ahsoka to be the one to say "Those are my people!" and wanting to take action.Shit like this is what led me to believe that they axed Shaak Ti on purpose for the show. She was a popular jedi and she appeared in a large number of Clone Wars media before Filoni Wars, yet Ahsoka comes on the scene and Shaak Ti is never seen or mentioned until much later on where she's reduced to the role of clone instructor.
Also, I found it to be a huge letdown and disappointment that we never saw Shaak and Ahsoka interacting with each other on-screen during Clone Wars. If not in a mentoring role or capacity, one would think Shaak would take interest in Ahsoka as a fellow Togruta at the least and offer her some words or wisdom or other advice to help the latter as a padawan. It certainly bolsters the idea that Clone Wars was little more than the Anakin & Ahsoka show with everyone else, Obi-Wan included, seen as little more than supporting cast. In retrospect, one might even argue it foreshadows Filoni's obsession with Ahsoka and his plans to later squeeze her into whatever media he could despite rumors at the time Ahsoka would likely die at or before the show's end to explain why she isn't mentioned in Episode III.
