I got into Vox after the Gab dispute. Never agreed with Vox feuding with Torba or with Anglin. Looks like he dropped the suit quickly. Sounds like he took his own advice.
I don't know who these people are. Vox shoutouts Nationalists who do good work and he shoutouts people who shoutout him.
That's not my definition. I didn't mean to imply that you have to constantly give shoutouts or you're a gatekeeper. What I meant was that shouting out a gatekeeper who also doesn't shout you out is a bad idea. Who are these conservative artists you speak of? I don't know if they're gatekeepers or not.
The best way to see if someone's a gatekeeper (Whether knowingly or not) is a combination of things. Being promoted as "fake opposition" by The Left is a HUGE redflag. The "authoritative" conservatives and centrists being promoted by Youtube, The Guardian, and NY Times are gatekeepers. The Anarcho-Communists LARPing as revolutionaries while being promoted by the NY Times as deradicalizers are "fake opposition".
. . .
Whistleblowers. No one denies the fact that the US gov't has bugged its tech. The Chinese are simply pointing out an uncontroversial fact. The Western politicians/deep state who spy on us have no business pointing fingers at others to distract from their own misdeeds.
Somebody should do a Vox soundboard. (Though many of the buttons would just be "gamma" like the lamest pokemon.)Can we get that Jordan Peterson soundboard to say some more shit tho
Again, exactly the point. Vox only does for others who have first done for him. But then he complains about nobody ever giving him a shout out. Well maybe they're just operating under the same rules he is and not referencing people unless they first reference them.
I think it was mid-19th century, when America started letting in Germans and Italians. Vox thinks that America doesn't just belong to whites, it belongs specifically to whites of Anglo descent.I think core problem here is that conservatism is not really about things that people like Vox actually care about.
For example, Vox often claims that immigration into USA after certain date (don't remember now that date exactly) was in general a problem and it should be rolled back. I doubt that any conservative actually wants or thinks about it as a reasonable goal. Or take white nationalists, they want non-white people gone. Many conservatives would prefer if there were more whites in USA than "minorities", true, but again, most of them would never sign up for mass deportations or anything of the sorts. They just want to keep similar proportions that USA had, I don't know, 20 years ago?
Point is that on the surface goals aren't that dissimilar, but when you dig deeper you realize that there isn't that much common ground there. As another example we can look at someone like Spencer who looks like he doesn't have many problems with socialism. You'd think that it would make him a natural ally for Democrats then since conservatives really don't like anything socialism related. But again, you look deeper and realize that Spencer wants socialism for white people, others can get fucked. So obviously Democrats don't like him.
In other words conservatives will never conserve things that "alt-right" cares about and "alt-right" will always fuck up things that conservatives care about. Even those monuments that got removed, I saw many alt-righters being okay with it since it might "wake up" more white people.
Considering the existence of things like the Muhlenberg legend, and the numerous German descended US legislatures and other public figures associated with it (who were real, even though the legend itself wasn't), I think it's safe to say that people of German Americans were a strong presence in the American colonies before they even became a country.I think it was mid-19th century, when America started letting in Germans and Italians. And that is exactly what Xi has done, with a serious commitment to an anti-corruption campaign that has taken many by surprise. It may astonish Western readers to know that the Chinese government is now extremely popular with the people. Unlike the Western countries, in which various corporations and other organizations are reliably deemed to big to fail - which really means they are too corrupt to be permitted to fail - Xi has led a magnificently ruthless campaign against corruption in China on a scale that is absolutely unthinkable in the West.23. Xi knows how very corrupt China is and is repulsed by the all-encompassing commercialization of Chinese society, with its attendant nouveau riche, official corruption, loss of values, dignity, and self-respect, and such "moral evils" as drugs and prostitution, the professor stated. The professor speculated that if Xi were to become the Party General Secretary, he would likely aggressively attempt to address these evils, perhaps at the expense of the new moneyed class.
Now THAT is what actually draining the swamp looks like. The greatest political mind of the 20th century, Lee Kuan Yew, described Xi as "a man of great breadth" and said he would "put him in the Nelson Mandela class of persons." While there are certainly reasons to doubt the assumption that the 21st century will be the Chinese century, the fact that 1.6 billion people now have a leader of this reported rectitude and capability should not be discounted.Upon taking office, Xi vowed to crack down on "tigers and flies", that is, high-level officials and local civil servants alike. Most of the officials investigated were removed from office and faced accusations of bribery and abuse of power, although the range of alleged abuses varied widely. As of 2016, the campaign has 'netted' over 120 high-ranking officials, including about a dozen high-ranking military officers, several senior executives of state-owned companies, and four national leaders. More than 100,000 people have been indicted for corruption. The campaign is part of a much wider drive to clean up malfeasance within party ranks and shore up party unity. It has become an emblematic feature of Xi Jinping's political brand.
Since when have facts been important to Vox's autistic screeds?Considering the existence of things like the Muhlenberg legend, and the numerous German descended US legislatures and other public figures associated with it (who were real, even though the legend itself wasn't), I think it's safe to say that people of German Americans were a strong presence in the American colonies before they even became a country.
It won't surprise me if the Chinese government waits for the commissioner to travel to China before cancelling both exhibition games at the last minute. Especially in light of how Silver's claim that the NBA supports freedom of expression is absolutely and entirely false. The NBA doesn't even hesitate to put itself in a position of regulating what players, employees and team owners say when it comes to "racism", "sexism", "anti-semitism", and "hate".The National Basketball Association won't gag its personnel or apologise over a team executive's tweet that ignited a firestorm in China, commissioner Adam Silver insisted Tuesday, standing firm despite a growing backlash that imperils the league's lucrative Chinese following.
The tweet last Friday by Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey supporting pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong has infuriated Chinese fans and led to broadcasters and sponsors severing ties with the NBA.
But Silver, speaking at a press conference in Japan where the Rockets are playing exhibition games this week, said the world's top basketball league would continue to "support freedom of expression and certainly freedom of expression of the NBA community."
"The NBA will not put itself in a position of regulating what players, employees and team owners say or will not say on these issues. We simply could not operate that way," Silver said in a statement before the press conference.

Nope. Benjamin Franklin wrote about an unassimilate-able German minority as early as the 1750s. Swarthy Germans
This article doesn't go into it, but I know he also implied German women were too fat to be considered attractive by English born American men.
Based Benjamin, I guess.![]()
I understand Mark's perspective and I respect his stand. He's a good guy, a smart game designer, and a man of principle. That being said, I absolutely consider the Chinese influence to be vastly preferable to the alternative with which they are competing. A competing civilizational alternative to Western civilization may not be ideal, but it is almost infinitely better than pure satanic inversion. This hurts. But until Blizzard reverses their decision on @blitzchungHS I am giving up playing Classic WoW, which I helped make and helped convince Blizzard to relaunch. There will be no Mark of Kern guild after all.
Let me explain why I am #BoycottBlizzard
I am ethnically Chinese. I was born in Taiwan and I lived in Hong Kong for a time. I have done business with China for many years, with several gaming companies there. So I think I have a valid perspective here, having been a Team Lead at Blizzard and having grown up in Asia.
I have watched China slowly take over as the dominant investing force in gaming and movies over the years. It’s a shame US companies never believed as strongly as China and Asia in investing in games, but this allowed China to have unprecedented influence over our media.
Chinese game companies have grown huge not just because of market size, but because the government subsidizes them. They get free land, free offices, and huge infusions of cash. This cash was and is used to do expand and buy up stakes in US gaming companies.
I’ve seen firsthand the corruption of Chinese gaming companies, and I was removed from a company I founded (after Blizzard) for refusing to take a 2 million dollar kickback bribe to take an investment from China. This is the first time I’ve ever spoken publicly about it. I’ve also seen how American company reps in China have been offered similar bribes to get licenses for large AAA titles. Not everyone refused like I did.
Unfortunately, US and European companies are loath to take risks and invest in game companies legally as much as China was. China remained one of the few places mid-tier studios could get funding. So again, China influence grew. I’m sure this is the same for movies as well.
Sorry man, been real busy of late killing humans. I'll try to make it up to you later.A bit late, but here's Vox Day's latest China shill post:
Vox Popoli: The cost of money

Got that? China murders whomever they wish (including millions of Christians) but that's OK because at least they didn't fuck up the Star Wars sequels. The cost of money
World of Warcraft Designer/Producer Mark Kern's explanation of why he has severed himself from all things Blizzard illustrates why I never seek large investments from anyone in any of my projects:
I understand Mark's perspective and I respect his stand. He's a good guy, a smart game designer, and a man of principle. That being said, I absolutely consider the Chinese influence to be vastly preferable to the alternative with which they are competing. A competing civilizational alternative to Western civilization may not be ideal, but it is almost infinitely better than pure satanic inversion.
Remember, the Chinese response is a reaction to the subversive cultural invasion of their civilization. It is an aggressive form of civilizational self-defense. Rather than permit their invaders a safe base from which to stage their attacks, they are attacking the bases from which the invasion stems. Given this observation, I very much doubt it will be long before a Chinese company acquires one of the Big Five media companies.
And let's face it. They couldn't have screwed up Star Wars any worse than the Devil Mouse has.
Notably, even his die-hard followers are not buying Vox's tortured reasoning.
I didn't expect to be the new @Flexo but someone's gotta be Vox's tard minder.
EDIT: While we're at it, here's a 2008 post regarding the Olympics Nate was alluding to:

Vox should stop bragging about being the Supreme Dark Lord while also being a Christian because sin darkens the intellect. See: John 3:19-21.I still can't believe he said "[china] better than pure satanic inversion." China! A country with mandated abortion. A country that has literally put Christians in jail.
How the heck is china not satanic?? (not that his puts me on Disney's side, but then isn't that getting outside of the binary thinking Vox is always going on about?)
I'm not sure which is sadder, Vox doing all this Chinese government shilling for free, or some deluded Chinese operative thinking Vox is worth putting on their payroll.
Does anybody know how old Vox's kids are? I don't think they are in a marriageable age, but I might be wrong. I think none of them is married yet, and he has no grandchildren. Therefore, he should shut his snout up, and just wait and see for the effects of his parenting before he will start to judge others...Apparently Vox doesn't realize JBP has more than one child.
