I think it's some planet that has to do with the Emperor, I'm not that well versed in the original lore.

However, more importantly, it's such an obscure thing which happened to pop up in the middle of the mass dump of leaks from IX, meaning every last iota of bullshit in said leaks is now probably true because Exogol was confirmed.

and now the Millennium Falcon, the ship which is arguably the biggest icon of the series aside from the lightsabers themselves. All this being done towards the most recognizable film series in American history with the largest fanbase of them all.

My favorite part about this is that it reads like a joke about lefties.

I could easily see this being a joke told by a non SJW type who says "Hey, how do you piss off an SJW? Tell them The Last Jedi sucked".

They are so lacking in self-awareness, that they make themselves look horrible in their own jokes and art and don't realize it.

Back when Ghostbusters 2016 came out, I had just started a new job and the office was loaded with Lefties. I met one woman in a one on one meeting and one of the first things she told me was "Social Justice is SUPER important to me" so that gives you a taste of the atmosphere of the workplace.

I overheard one woman ask a male co-worker "Oh you saw Ghostbusters! What'd you think?!" and she was so excited and smiley, and the guy just smiled, nodded, and said "Yeah, it was good" and then immediately tried to change the topic of conversation. Internally, I was laughing, but it is something I see all the time where people are afraid to disagree with these nutjobs about anything, so they just smile, nod, and let it go. Although that is easier, I wonder if just letting them do and say whatever they want without opposition is actually doing them harm because they can't handle it when somebody does disagree with them, hence the webcomic about The Last Jedi. A few days later, that same lady co-worker asked me if I liked the new Ghostbusters, and I responded truthfully with "I haven't seen it" (I wouldn't see it until months later). She looked disappointed and then barely talked to me ever again. I guess that was my chance at initiation and I blew it, lol.

Personally, I don't understand why people get bent out of shape when people don't like the things that they like, but whatever.
